what i want to say to that question that jay has changed...isn´t that the way of life....when i look back to my life 10 years ago.... it was different....e.g.:. my convictions at that time had been much " greener" if you know what i mean... than now
and.. like serge said before.. he´s over 10 years in this buissines...so what...i think it´s normal....but this drugsproblems you are right... we shouldn´t forget...
but what i really like about jay is (though i prefer the older albums too!) , that he goes his own way... he never tried to copy his first albums...
he himself accepts his changing.... he has found the right way between new stuff... but being still discernible jamiroquai ! respect... clapping

Agree with MrsMoon
Sure is the way of life, but what we were talking about is that is also a drugs problem. Like he is losing his voice. I remember when he sang Space Cowboy in the Funky Paradise booklet, I don´t think he can sing today that song exactly as in that concert. Or like somebody said (I don´t remember) that is hard for him to sing Virtual Insanity now.
And I agree with you Mrs Moon about J going his own way. But now, it seems like he is coming back to the first two albums vibe. We have to wait.

Bye Jamirotalkers.

Dear Funkers

I would just like to say that i agree with you about the different JK but you must admit that, despite is voice is quite worse, and i´ve post that in the forum before, he is bigger, musically speaking, i mean it seems that now he puts a bigger soul and spirit in is music and you can notice that in the Blow Your Mind & Soul Education in the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2003, Alrigth DVD Live in Verona, Travelling Without Moving Montreux Jazz Festival 2002, Shoot the Moon.
It seems to me taht he is more selective...!!!?! Do you agree?

Oh well, let´s just hope for them to release a great album, hope for a fantastic 2004/05 Tour and party with them.... clapping

A fantastic 2004 for all you party people, Kisses and Hugs!
