Now Jay, you didn't answer my question from one of my previous posts: Do you really believe real communism could work?
When yes, please explain how. |
Im pretty sure i did answer but anyway, yes, i believe it could work. However, neither this forum or my mind has the capacity or even the patience to undergo a full analysis of the inner workings of communist ideology. So i wont explain how it works, how about you tell me why it wouldnt work and ill answer you.

Communism didn't work in history, capitalism is too strong compared to it. Just look what's happening in China right now or the tourism branch in Cuba living on hard dollars.
The solution is some sort of social capitalism like the "soziale Marktwirtschaft", an expression the former German chancellor Ludwig Erhard has introduced in the 1950's. You know, it's the system the U.S. don't have.
I'm speaking of a capitalist system where everyone enjoys social security, like almost free medical care and aids from the state when you lose your job.
I'm wondering why the U.S. still don't have a proper system of health insurance for every citizen. We should discuss that subject here. |

Ophone, communism hasnt really worked so far because either it hasnt been applied under the right conditions or it has been corrupted by people, and allowed by others to be corrupted because they werent ready for it either. No country has applied communism in the conditions described by Marx so far. Therefore u can only argue that it doesnt work on theoretical grounds |

Same for the case of real communism working.
Jay you have to face the fact that practically it didn't work. |
