Hi!
Yesterday I was thinking of this post of you, Diego. I think we can say that Jamirotalk is back on the normal level again. Many new members with (new) positive energy, many people posting, many posts of high quality, etc.
The South-American tour, spring in Europe and the rumours about the upcoming Greatest Hits helped us out of this period of relative stillness!

I agree Jeroen. Speaking as a relatively new member i have noticed a lot of new members recently from all round the world. This in my opinion can only be a good thing for the forum.
I have looked at other Jamiroquai forums but they just dont appear to have the 'Jamily' vibe which Jamirotalk has.
As i said i am a relatively new member and i hope i have brought some new interesting viewpoints to the forum. |

mr.az, those old topics have been discussed long ago, some of them in 2002 already... with the people that have been around that time. Those discussions are more or less over. It only makes sense to bring them up again if the topic is still actuall and you really have something interesting to add... if you only push them up with a negligible comment of yours, then it is annoying for the people that are around here nowadays... they would have to go through the whole discussion in order to get the point. That can be time-consuming, sometimes annoying or even confusing if you don't consider that those comments have been written years ago. Also, the people who were discussing aren't here anymore, or at least some of them.
They cannot answer you anymore... it doesn't make sense.
I agree though, that there are some really good old topics around... it's surely worth to (re-)read most of them, but i would prefer to let them where they are.
Hope you understand my point. Thanks.

i agree with meike aswell... those threads arent around anymore becoz they are old and the convo is over... i mean why would u resurect a thread about 'are u going to download the new jamiroquai album' when its already been released and another album is on the way... and then when u post its not even about if u downloaded dynamite or not... it was more to the tune of 'i only download videos not mp3s.... ' la di da! and then u go totally offtopic and start saying oh i wish the directors of the videos would contain a section on there site for High RES downloads of the videos... when in fact everything in high res is offer'd to us from links at this forum! |
