Well, if they are going to be putting out a live DVD, I really bloody hope they don't balls it up like they did with Verona. I got all excited about that, the first Jami DVD ever and they made a complete botched job of it. My requests to Sony for ANY future live DVD (whether it's released next year or in 20 years) are:
- One show (there's a loss of continuity if you switch from venue to venue with each song)
- No cuts
- Stop cutting to the crowd ALL THE TIME. I don't care how gorgeous that girl during Love Fool is, I bought the DVD to see the show.
- Most importantly of all, KEEP IT IN THE ORDER THEY PLAY IT IN! The reordering of the tracks on the Verona DVD was both VERY poorly done, and totally, utterly, bafflingly pointless - the band have put the songs in that order for a reason, namely because it works well in a live show. What possible improvement does it make to change them round?
- Any other stuff (maybe an odd performance of a song not in the DVD setlist from another show) to go in the bonus section.
Not that any of this matters, because the current tour is so mammoth I'd have thought it'll be a long long time before anything from it gets released anyway...

i'm totally agree with you Sam!
if they do a live the dvd is way better to show a full show.
the worst thing in verona is the order changing on the setlist, they fucked up the thing _________________

An entire show would be sweet, and I hope they can find the best show, musically speaking, to put it on there. I did like some of the cool video edits and stuff they did in Verona with the audience and such, but changing up the set kills the vibe. Lets hope.... |

I think they didn't play TWM... I read a 2002 review of the show and the setlist does not include TWM |
