I just got an email with amazing pictures in it (one of those forward things) and the first picture is of a bridge between Sweden and Denmark that is partially underwater...Is this really true (I can't look it up at the moment)...How beautiful if it is. I dig it!

Yes it's true Deesh. Öresundsbron (the Öresund bridge) turns into a tunnel under the Drogden strait.

The Gotland pony, or Russ, as it is called in Sweden, has lived in the forest region of the island of Gotland from time immemorial. Their history is mysterious and fascinating.

And those 25% are more or less borrowed from British humour. Laughing

Swedish (svenska) is obviously the official language of Sweden. But we also have a few official minority languages.

The minority languages are:

Finnish (finska)

Meänkieli (Tornedalsfinska, a variation of Finnish spoken in the area called Tornedalen)

Lappish/Sami (samiska, spoken by the Samis... eg our native people living in the northern parts of Norway, Sweden, Finland and some parts of northern Russia)

Romani Chib (spoken by Romanis/Gypsies)
