My dad says I'm too old for a console, and I'm only 15...
How do I deal with THAT problem?
tell him you know someone (me) who's 33 and has pretty much every game console ever made
Tried. He won't listen. Why don't those people just release an "extender" for the PC that would act like that console, and would be connectable with the TV?

maybe telling him you 'know' two people with consoles
I'm going for 36 years old this year. I don't have every console like the Bear but I'm an avid PS2 player and I sure as hell will buy me a PS3 (although not immediately).
Wii sounds like fun but the games don't apply to me yet
Xbox360 - nice, but I'm waitiong for the bacjwards compatibilty from the PS3. Nothing beats the fun in playing an old game from time to time.
A couple of friends and me play Atomic Bomberman and Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (with add on cars) regularly on a home network .. just plain hilarious, especially when some booze comes in to play.
anyway to get to the point. Do you want to get it from your parents or are you paying for it yourself? If it's the first (your parents paying for it) then get a job (newspaperround or something comparable) and save the money for a console. Too young for a job (I don't know how things are in your country) then you unfortunately have to wait until your old enough.
