I was just reading this article about Obama's new "team". I thought it might be interesting for some of you, to learn more about the people he is gathering around him.
| Quote: |
This is Change. 20 Hawks, Clintonites and Neocons to Watch for in Obama's White House
'U.S. policy is not about one individual, and no matter how much faith people place in President-elect Barack Obama, the policies he enacts will be fruit of a tree with many roots. Among them: his personal politics and views, the disastrous realities his administration will inherit, and, of course, unpredictable future crises. But the best immediate indicator of what an Obama administration might look like can be found in the people he surrounds himself with and who he appoints to his Cabinet. And, frankly, when it comes to foreign policy, it is not looking good.' [...]

Well, as I said, I would have voted for Nader if I were an American.
Because there is not much difference between Obama and McCain, maybe only that Obama was the more charismatic candidate. _________________

well look at it this way; people were upset with the last 8yrs , and have been very critical of their government, leaders, laws. They put Obama into office because of an eagerness to find someone who wud advance the country from what has happened recently over the last 8 yrs. I don't think well blindly support him without being critical,if anything people here seem to be more aware , intouch blah blah blah because of Obamas approach.
so yes he is 'charasmatic" but i think he uses that charisma to work in his favor(for the people n policies) not just with the public but with his cabinet members and internationally we will see....he seems to be avoiding the divisive attitude of previous prez, a more inclusive approach, even down to his disjointed cabinetry, still going on his premise I think…. Let’s hope that his charisma is pervasive enuff to quell any alternative agendas(that im not familiar with 2b honest) that stray from obama’s promises
the brzezinski thing might actually b religiously fueled, crazy how smear works!!! not compeltely discrediting background research on obamas associations
just b careful with the immediate smearing, but of course its good 2 queschun
So far hes been very instrumental with charisma, getting his ideas across without having to overreact like the typical politician. I really admire that…not 2 many people can pull that off,the placid yet very much in control attitude…veryslick!! (not 2 say that he wont ever)
inauguration 09 !!!ok ok not going to the ball who cares?! partay neway:)
and yes happy holidays |
