Whenever a single is released that usually means a video & remixes!!

Sometimes the remixes are really good.

That also typically means promo cds... I'll be keeping an eye on ebay.

but I am interpreting this song as being about a lifeline that is not an actual woman, but a certain plant, instead.

buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Very Happy Impeccable 2nd single choice, absolutely the PERFECT song for 2nd single, I can already see the music video for 'Lifeline', JK and the band all dressed like carnies, in some circus sideshow of yesteryear, with JK as the leader spinning around a wickercane and directing curious eager goers around all the amazing 'freaks of the sideshows' Very Happy. One last thought, could we please have some 'new original song B-Sides' for this 2nd single release? Maybe 'Super Highway'? Cheers!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

It seems that "Lifeline" will be a UK-only single... We'll see!

I'm confused on how certain songs are picked for specific regions or countries.
I guess this is how things are done today?
Sounds like a lot of specific marketing.

Funny, I sent one song last week to a local radio station via FB, (here in U.S.) and it was "She's a Fast Persuader".

I understand what he said, budgets for video clips are not what they used to be. But a good video doesn't have to be expensive. It just needs to be original, innovative... cool. Just a good idea.

A good video doesn't have to cost a fortune. All it takes is creativity. That's precisely what OK GO always come up with: in my opinion, they have some of the best videos around and they obviously don't cost a fortune.

If you're unfamiliar with OK GO, take a look at a few of their videos and see what I'm talking about. The first one (with the treadmills) is the most famous one, but the others are just as innovative and clever.
