| Gosh no, a actual CD Single of new Jamiroquai stuff is far better than a MP3 of it! |

Hello there,
(Little bit offtopic)
Wow! A lot of people from Buenos Aires, I like this hehe. Well... I understand what you are saying, cause it happened the same to me. But after 3 years of searching, I found my little secret stores where I can buy original singles and stuff.
Of course, they are not so cheap, so everytime I got saved money, I spend it on those. OK. Here is the best tip you've ever heard in your life, go to Florida and Lavalle in Buenos Aires, near the Obelisco. Ask in every store, and you'll find something. For example, in a hidden store in Santa Fe avenue, I found the single of Cosmic Girl (the pink one) and the Deeper Underground one. So, its a matter of searching
I also saw a lot of people with a JMQ t-shirt. I have two original ones, and other two I made for myself. Once I saw a girl with his mother walking in Cabildo Avenue asking for Jamiroquai stuff in every store, I was like "noo, if she finds anything, she'll buy it! I got to do something!" Hahaha...
To sum up, there are things in Buenos Aires, just take a little time, find every good store with imported items, save money, and you'll have original Jamiroquai stuff. Hope that helped.
Coming back to the topic,
Yeah Mouse, an Euro is like 3 pesos here in Argentina, is not that much, but maybe it is for only one song. Plus, not a lot of people can afford it. I know it may sound absurd, but is true. Im able to pay, I just got to find someone who uses a credit card, and like Jamirofan said, Ive never bought online, so I don't know how safe it is.
I do think it is not right to share the MP3. If you want to record it for your friend, thats ok, but sending an MP3 from a country to another, then that's the main problem. We are contributing to the illegal copies, although of course a lot of us will buy the single and the album as well, but if they want to sell the song, we have to respect their decission.
'I think that I would do anything... yeah you're the one'

if you guys think that the files will just be shared anyway (which WILL be the case), then why the hell are they doing this "digital download" crap?
it doesnt make sense. they shouldn't do it if there is a danger of piracy, which would be easier if the medium is readily accessible.
that's why i voted for the "I want a CD" vote. |

Just thought I'd add...
The site mentions it will be available form UK online music stores, hope that doesn't cause much of a problem for anyone outside the UK _________________

that's true... but i told here that for us is impossible to get those singles... so... i voted for the first option... but if i hav the chance, i'll buy it! you know i love to buy original albums, even when i'm in one of the biggest piracy countries... i'm so proud about it... heheh _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Hello again,
Hmmm...I was having yet anthor think about the upcoming pay download of "FJLIS", and I thought, "How will it be released: As the single song by ITSELF OR complimented with 1-2 B-Sides/Remixes ?" I would think they would release it with something extra and special since it is the FIRST Jamiroquai online pay download of new material. What do you guys and gals think? Please leave your thoughts, most interested in reading your feedback! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

i think the download will just be the single, and hopefully the cd will have a B side, or more likely mixes. This way they are more likely to get more sales from us fans who really wanna hear any mixes or b sides
its pretty obvious but most likely true _________________ I never know what to do 'til im there with you... |
