I wasn't thinking about RDLS as a titletrack, thought it was something like Shoot the Moon, maybe not the same because I was pretty sure it was going to be in the album but I thought at RDLS as a "crossing track" to play as a spoiler between eras.
Anyway it "works" as a title for the album, glad they used it and only positive feelings about the cover, I think the buffaloman is just what's needed on the cover. Simple and very effective
Now let's wait again _________________ I once had a 10 years of Travelling Without Moving celebrations banner here... |

Ohhh I needed to hear something new so baaaad!
Interesting how the first two 'singles' have a color in the title, White Knuckle Ride and Blue Skies (looooooove this title)
I don't have an opinion on that extract yet (as Jamiroquai fans we tend to like everything at first glance), but I do hope it's a remix cause it surely sounds like it.
Other than that, I have no opinion until I hear the full original song.
I do like Rock, Dust, Light, Star as album title, somehow... if I knew it has some cosmic interpretation, but it's a powerful title. Better than Dynamite for sure.
Did I say I looove the Blue Skies title? |

Totally agree with you Dye!
I think the bassline is funky! I like it! Dunno about the rest yet.
Best thing is: We have something to talk again, and my excitement is rising more and more!! Loooove that feeling!!! |

I agree CosmicMouse, I love that feeling of having some new samples or snippets to talk about and discuss. It would seem that the White Knuckle Ride clip may indeed be remix, but it sounds funky and its something to further our excitement as we wait for more developments.
I love this album build-up feeling _________________ 'This is the world he wants, pray for the brave and the young...' |

These basslines sounded great, that indicates the original song is at a slower tempo wich would fit perfectly well _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

Well, as Jay keeps saying that "all would make sense in November" with the title track of the album, strangely today, I got my opinion on it.
The thing is, since I heard live at Debut, I try to understand "Rock Dust Light Star" as one sentence.
But I guess it should be Rock-Dust-Light-Star.
To me, these 4 words put in this order are an analogy to an evolution, from the Earth to the Sky. Now I don't know what Jay wants to represent by different steps of that evolution. Something like going they're coming from, the past? |

AHHH...someone shot the Buffaloman in the neck ! Hehe, well, I pretty much 'speculated on FB and elsewhere' that RDLS would be the album title, and I just hate being right! Still, it was nice of them to go into 'further detail' about the new album, and even better for them to release the first & second singles on vinyl...maybe they aren't 'fumbling bastards' after all? But I am excited, and look forward to picking up these vinyl releases at my indie store in the coming months ! Cheers!
Sincerely,

Synkronized is a superior album cover.
The Buffalo Man-less covers do a disservice to the brand visually. I love looking at Jay Kay but his beautiful mug doesn’t need advertising for a “band’s” album cover.
Glad Buffalo Man is back for all (and not just the US or International Special Editions). |

I'm confused, Little L was released as the first single on August 13th. And A Funk Odyssey on September 3rd.
If White Knuckle Ride is released in August, why is there so much time until the album release? Perhaps Blue Skies is the lead single like it says in funkin?
Mmm... let's wait. |

Hmmm...it is a little confounding, them releasing 2-3 singles alone nearly at the same time in the span of 2 1/2 months . But I think it's pretty logical 'Blue Skies' would be released first (In order of having not heard it yet), then 'White Knuckle Ride' then RDLS (If it's even being released as a single?!?). But I am most interested in the single artwork for each release, I can already see the Buffaloman in some kind of 'racing car light smear' effect for 'White Knuckle' & the Buffaloman, as a lofty cloud in a blue skies for 'Blue Skies'. Will wait and see most definitely. Cheers!
Sincerely,

Wouldn't be something new, IIRC, this has something to do with High times. I have other 3 wallpapers with the same filename pattern, CG, TWM and Canned Heat. |
