Never Gonna Be Another.
The interview was ok, some good questions, some completely unnecesary ones, but almost half the time talking about the damn cars |
You're right Dyego. Well Jay even mentioned that himself - lots of questions about cars, not much about the music.

i was hoping someone who ask him music-related questions but oh well
for me the best part from this interview was jay stating the tour will start next year, can't wait to see them live _________________ I think it’s time to find a new religion |

your right Dyego, that's all they want to know in this country!
seems as though it will be a rock type feel to it
I just get the impression he doesn't know how to catogorize it which isn't really a bad thing as you don't want to pigeon hole the album. He did actually say that too but i do like the Roxy Music influence included
I was always under the impression for the last 2 years talking to band members that it would be soulful but that's another curve ball.
Also as i thought - the mainstream/masses are loving WKR judging by the texts etc. I just don't really get 'Funky' from it just a really good club tune & a bit overproduced. He also said he hadn't read anything negative about it so he hasn't been on here He also believes that's the first time people have listened to it & did well to keep it under there hats _________________

I agree that it was highly annoying that more talk was spent on cars rather than the new album! After all, the new song (and album) is the reason he was there! I think that's the great thing about Jamiroquai and their uniqueness within the modern music industry. You can never really categorise them. You listen to Dynamite, and everytime a song comes on, it's a different genre - but it's still Jamiroquai!
Jay did mention about hearing that there was talk online of the sound not being live (probably the comments after the clip of WKR came online) and was eager to denounce that.
I have to admit though, hearing this interview, coupled with the fact I WILL BE THERE in London on October 20th, is making me incredibly excited! _________________ 'This is the world he wants, pray for the brave and the young...' |

I am counting the days...
I know it is going to be so good; And it is so needed. I am tired of the dribble being played on the radio in my "Corner Of The Earth", which is why I rarely listed. I strictly rely upon my favorites to release new music for nourishment of my spirit. So c'mon November 1st "I've been waiting so long". _________________ Mocha |
