I had no chance to download, but i would have felt no harm to do so. Cause I have preorderd both album releases, japanese and UK and FJLIS single and will buy surely the other singles too, may be in different releases.

That's why I put the example of this local band... they were with sony before they made this record and sold it for 5 dollars... sony made only 2 videos for them and they made poorly in mtv and the music channels... but then they made it their own way, made 3 nice videos and won 2 mtv music awards.... so it isn't really true that companies make all the publicity... with new technologies musicians have more control over their creations... I think the system will crush sooner or later.

oh ,of course !!!!
and not only that,i made a copy and i gave it to otto's dj (otto is the disco where i'm working) to force him playing some jmq song,cos he always tell me he can't coz they're too old....and he played "(don't) give hate a chance" last saturday,and i'm proud of it,lolol, he wasn't going to buy it in all ways,he would never play jmq if i don't give him lots and lots of WHITE LAVELS xDDD and of course the cd with the song!!!
I couldn't wait any more to listen it and i use it like if it were original,i mean,listening it every time.I already know the lyrics of some songs and i'm writting the scores for piano and strings.where is the problem? lolol,of course i'll buy the album when it comes out,and i'll do something i have never done,i'll buy all singles....and i'm waitting for "fjlis" cos I searched it yesterday and i can't find it yet.
I also made a copy for a friend who hates jamiroquai coz i wanted him to addmit they're good,and he did!!!! I think i'm not doing something bad, i would say i'm doing something good,now u can hear jamiroquai in that disco,and some friends of mine are starting to like it...i'm just making fans!

It was exactly what appened to anyone that download the album in mp3, and din't pay for it , in any p2p or bitorrent program.
It was what appened to me, i didn't want to wait no more to listen what the band was doing on the studios in the last months!
The fact is that im not going to buy the album when it came to the stores..and why? I already got the album, why i need it right on day 20? I need the money to more important stuffs! Like pay the house and see the Jamiroquai gig in South of Portugal,Only after that i will buy the CD 
If someone want to give it for my birthday there's no prob!
The fact is that i understand the people that are against this share of albuns/mp3, and the p2p programs to share them.Cause isn't only the fans that share them,is also the other people that like to listen music,or just collect cd's in home! I know people like that..got cd's that never saw the laser on a HiFi.
The problem is just that..cause the fans download the album..and more late or more soon, gonna buy it!
 i don't like so much this share...i always got that idea in my mind: less fans...much better quality! (Little Record Labels->Quality->Apreciation->More Fans->More Money->Big Record Company->Publicity->More Listeners->Comercial->Shit)
The true is that :
In eMule there are : 2500 users that got the album complete,and they are sharing it.
In Some Internation bit torrent servers: 1500 (arround that numbers)
In Portuguese BitTorrent Server: 500 (+/-)
And how many are fans?How many gonna buy the Album? 
Is like that things of share bootlegs,there was a time that i tink the best was to keep them allways to me and don't share with anyone,but then i tink: why im doing it? im going to die one day lol , and the cd's will be there...till someone came and crash them. Its a sad thing that things of shares..cause i know some guys that got rare bootlegs (yeah..im talking about belfort 95) and they don't even sell a stupid copy!The worst is many of them they aren't fans..or just hide fans!
In resume i say : Share,only with fans!

yeah that'd be great.
the only reason why i downloaded the album is because i wanted to put the tracks into the mp3 player, just to be able to listen to it everytime-everywhere!  |

..but now i have the english issue (Vinyl), American issue (Vinyl) and Album sampler. I didn't buy CD before there's Time Won't Wait..

yeh ive said it before .... i downloaded dynamite before it got released but i also bought the singles and dynamite and then the release of dynamite 'the aussie tour edition'
yeh.... ill download there stuff but ill also still support the boys! |
