The poll shows some intersting results so far. The teenage proportion of the vote exceeds the total of the over 20's !! You guys must have got in real young to the Space Cowboy vibe. For a band that hasn't released an album in a few years, this is a very loyal following for what would be regarded as the the most crucial sector of the record buying market.
I am also a Prince fan and the over 40 vote is a far more significant proportion of the fan base. Prince will only be 47 this year too, so between him and JK, the age difference is not that wide. |

Yes you are quite correct...I misread an article from 1997...I thought the article was written in 2001 _________________ I used to worry about the future

well, I listen to older music (queen, led zep, the cure stuff like that) while all my friends listen to blink 182 and all that crap. The only people I know who have heard of Jam are about 20 years older than me. _________________ Fascist.

Hehehe, my little daughter Axelle is only 5 years old and she's already a big fan. Often she tells me, in the car, Mom, please I wanna listen Jamiroquai, and with the CD player she got for Christmas, she asked me to burn a CD with her favorite tunes. _________________ Live P2P

I'm 24. I've been a fan since 2001 I think....
I was watching an episode of The Naked Chef and Jamie was cooking for Jamiroquai. They were playing "love foolosophy" on teh show and I loved it! My boyfriend had Travelling Without Moving so I started to listen to it religiously. Then I bought Funk Odyssey and the rest is, as they say, history
So I haven't been a fan for long, but they quicly became one of my favorite bands and I try to convert everyone around me _________________

Wow! That is very impressive!! If someome of my family listened to Jamiroquai, that would've been great! But my dad listened to Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, Jose Feliciano, and I like that music too. So is pretty much like you say.

I was born in North London (Thorpe Coombe Hospital, Walthamstow, London E.17) on February 5th 1962 - that makes me a very funky 43 year old wife of 22 years and mother of four children.
May I add that this is also the birthdate of our dear friend Haruchan who comes from Hawaii, she and I share the same birthdate . . . but she is an awful lot younger and prettier than me !!!
