Michael Park, co-driver for Markko Martin, died earlier today after an accident on stage 15 of Wales Rally GB.
Park, 39, was killed when Martin's Peugeot 307 crashed heavily into a tree...

Jenson Button stays at BAR...
Hmmm I reckon that gives the team a pretty strong line up now... |

Hi Guys,
I've been absent for a while and just found this thread ... I'm a BIG motorracing fan (MotoGP/SBK/BSB/AMA) and am a reporter for the Dutch website Racesport.nl
this weekend wil be the last GP of the year and I'm going, is anybody else going to Valencia this weekend ...
ps. don't know what I'll do if I have to choose between a Jamiroquai gig or a GP ...
ps2. sorry F1 is just too boring ... 4 wheels with lots of roadcontact vs two wheels en just a small patch ... even if Rossi pulls a Schumacher (in his old days ) then it's still exciting to watch. |

Wow, that news really shocked me, I wasn't aware his illness was that serious. It's so sad he had to endure his co-driver's death too, that must have helped his illness advance.
He was a great driver, there's no doubt about that whatsoever.
Rest in peace. |

That's really sad to hear. I thought he was getting better!
Rest in peace, Richard. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |

My attention span is too short.
Even though I totally appreciate the skill it takes to maintain concentration in one of those tour de france deals.
Of course there are the local Classic Car Drag races.
I'd like to make it down to some of these events this year:
