Re: Stuart Zender's tapes
* happy facepalm *
If you thought the Nick Van Gelder demowork from 93' took a while swallow, my god, Stu's 94' demowork & Wilson's 96' backing track/rehearsal material will make our collective heads explode. Hope somebody shares from snippets from this goodness, either on Facebook/Youtube soon! Cheers for the info Peter! _________________

Wow this seems exciting! He posted on FB saying that he has grown up since then (probably referencing he regrets leaving the band), and has waited to put out the album that we all know as Symphonized.
He said it should be out soon! |

Honestly, I don't think there will be any material released, and if it does, that won't be related to Jamiroquai itself but something personal.
Just my opinion. _________________ At the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper... |

That would be great if Stu actually releases Symphonized, Midnight Funk might even be one of the tracks, if he's releasing it I look forward to hearing it. |

Grow up people - Stu has constantly been teasing his FB fans with old school, unreleased materials / bootlegs which never end up online, move on... |

and he can put this out alone? Is is complete? Is the production complete?
Plus all members would have to sign off...
I think not! |

Nick Van Gelder uploaded a bunch of Jamiroquai's unreleased live demos ("Friends", "Funky Seven", "Honky Tonk") and apparently there was no problem. |

Which is amazing that they were released -and most certainly stunned the true fans...
But it seems Symphonized is what really divided the band (and maybe the fans). I definitely don't think Zender can release it alone because the other members have so much into it too...wasn't it near completion? It seems it is very marketable and would be sold, rather than given.
(and this could be good for the departed members)
but if it were a cooperative effort (Jay, Zender, Smith & McKenzie) just think of all the fans that would come together...
zen or the Beatles
but hey, if he releases it, I'll be downloading it! |

I'm starting to think the problem is other. Lately been reading much publications from Stu and he seems to be still angry with Jay, and I'm afraid he's only publishing those photos for attention, I don't see him releasing them for free. |
