`The Chequered Flag´
I don´t know, maybe this are old news, but I found an article of march 19th that says that Jay wants to open an english pub, where he can get drunk with his friends.
He says that he wants to turn some of the stables of his property in a typical pub that will call " The Chequered Flag ".
Nevertheless, he clarified that in spite of his project " I will never stop having rock and roll and to live through the life of a musician ".
He added: "I am working at present very hardly to finish my last album, but my great dream is to construct a local typical pub where I could get drunk with friends and settlers of the zone ", the musician declared.
"This project is on wheels and soon it will remain ready", he finished.
Here are the links to it (only in spanish):

So, again, I hope this are not old news, cause I would hate to post something you already know. |

nope, he did not. he wanted to open it in the UK. but i think, with the current law over there he would have gotten himself into trouble.
the pub sounds like a great idea. i can imagine that lots of fans will go there, hoping to meet him or the rest of the band in person. if this would be jay's idea of a 'typical local pub'... hmmmm.. having a huge amount of fans waiting for him to arrive...

LAST album? I'm hoping that's just an odd translation from LATEST album. |

A JK Pub
Hello, :bm_r:
Hmm....interesting, originally, if I remember correctly, in a past article in The Sun Newspaper (UK), JK was looking for a partner to start up a drinks & cheeba bar in Amsterdam. He was cashing in the idea that most UK celebs have taken advantage off (most notably Robbie Williams!). But that's smart to opening a pub instead of the latter, JK will make good profit off it, and the proposed name would be perfect. Maybe it could be like a Indy themed pub, you know, a bar made of the body of a Indy car, bartenders dispense spuds with a gas station pumps, the dartroom with a nice burning tire fire in the chimney adorned with JK's mementos from his racing adventures, and a final compliment for the new pub, a craved wooden statue of JK, dressed like in a Indian in the COTE video, greeting the visitor to the pub with a handful of spliffs! Oh well, that's just my imagination gone wild, hope you found it amusing! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000
