Radio 1 Live from Jay's Mansion
Hey, I'm listening to the Radio 1 broadcast from Jay's pub right now, I hope you all remembered about it too
It's been really funny so far, Jay is great. I was a bit worried when Dave broke Jay's Segway scooter, but now they're giving him presents and he's very happy again =D He got a cash register, a full set of James Bond figures and a Chris Moyles truck! It mentioned that Jamiroquai recorded 5 tracks fro the show yesterday, and Seven Days in Sunny June was played a short while ago. Great version of the track I thought, though I'm sure that some of you will find some way to criticise it....
If you didn't know, the broadcast can be heard here right now:
www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio1.shtml?listen
And after the show you can listen again here:

EDIT: Live Cosmic Girl has just played! GREAT INTRO. I hope someone is recording this, it's a really nice version. _________________

Nah, I don't think so
It was one of the small impros they performed in the studio with the band. They even did a short version of the Rainbow TV Theme _________________

I just recorded the low-quality broadcastings of SDISJ and Cosmic Girl. I like the long version of Cosmic Girl, but you can hear Jay's voice isn't that good anymore. I think that's why he have the backing singers to take over some parts. He isn't scatting that much. Can't wait to hear the good-quality recordings! |

I recorded it, but is not in good quality... I mean, it starts with low volume, then I increased it, there are some "clicks" from internet explorer and some alerts from msn (all that in non-significant parts of the show). I have the three hours, and the first 40 minutes are not important...
The file size is 256 MB, mp3 192k mono.
We are live from Jay's house today
and it really is quite cool
He's got some really wicked cars
and trampoline and swimming pool
The guy's got so much money
he could open his own pub
So come on Jay don't mess about
and give us all a car...
!

Seven days in sunny june was awesome....
and with the intro of Cosmic Girl, i'm starting to miss Nick....
and those "backing vocals" are now changing all the songs... i hate it...
what i liked of cosmic girl was the break! it was awesome too...
i recorded the two songs... don't know if you're interested... they're in MP3 160 Kbps...
bye guys... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
