Snarky Puppy
A band originating from Texas has caught my interest these last months, although I've been to one of their gigs a few years ago in Leverkusen/Germany.
The band is led by its bassist Michael League and they play a blend of Jazz, Rock and World Music, usually without lyrics.
Snarky Puppy won three Grammy awards so far. One in 2014, one in 2016 and one in 2017.
In May I will attend a Snarky Puppy gig here in Luxembourg. I'm looking forward to that evening, even if I don't really like the venue (it's the same where Jamiroquai played on their RDLS tour).
Ever heard of Snarky Puppy? If yes, do you like their music? _________________

Indeed I heard about them!
You won't regret the concert, I'm sure
I attended to their concert 2 weeks ago in Budapest...they are pretty good in live, _________________ "If it doesn’t sound good with just a keyboard and a voice or a guitar and a voice, drop it.” /Jay Kay/ |

The gig was yesterday and it was genius!
I never heard such a good performance at this venue.
The sound was perfect and the band played in such a clean way, I was astonished by so much professionalism.
(Usually the sound is rather mediocre at the Rockhal.) _________________

Amazing group (many of the musicians change out periodically). The hard thing is to get tickets though. Sometimes the shows sell out in an hour or less. |
