WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THE DJ????
He guys,
I received some pictures that were taking a few weeks ago. It was a night that I played the tunes as you can see!!!!!
and the next one is during a 10 minute break. As you can see I couldn't decide what to drink....a beer or a juice
So my question is if there are more DJ's around here. And than I don't mean people who are making music on their computer, but really play the tunes in clubs! _________________

Nice DJ pictures :-)
Hello, :bm_r:
Cool pictures, Adidas! Looks like you really burned up the turntables...hehe. So, I have a simple question for you: What's your usual playlist for when you DJ? We have a DJ at the restuarant I work every Wednesday, and I try my darnest to get him to throw some Jamiroquai on his set, but usually have to provide him with a copy of EOPE or ROTSC to play specific tracks, mostly due to only having "VI" and "Little L" on his comp database . Well, If I was a DJ for a night, here's what my playlist would look like for the first hour of music :
My Playlist:
- Tighten Up (Archie Bell & The Drells)
- Life On Mars (Dexter Wansel)
- Journey to Arnhemland (Jamiroquai)
- Sir Duke (Stevie Wonder)
- Love Is The Drug (Roxy Music)
- God Made Me Funky (The Headhunters)
- People of the Party (Earth, Wind & Fire)
- Hollywood Swinging (Kool & The Gang)
- I Can't Stop (Al Green)
- This Love (Maroon 5)
- I'll Be Around (Cee-Lo)
- The Way I Feel (Remy Shand)
- Fell In Love With a Girl (Joss Stone)
- Space Cowboy (Jamiroquai)
- Easy Skanking (Bob Marley & The Wailers)
At least, I think that would be about a hour long worth of music..hehe! Well, you get the picture of what music I would be parleying on everyone's ears. I've started getting into Joss Stone after hearing some suggestions from friends about her debut album "Soul Sessions", great stuff, I hope her next album covers "Blues" or "R&B". Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

( Great pictures Adidas! And oh wow such a beautiful equipment !)
Well...I am not tecnically a DJ, but when I was at school whenever they had a party, they asked me to make a compilation album to play on it. So, I joined with a friend and we spent an entire night making an enchanced tracks album, and then we burnt it onto a cd. (I never had any complains, so... ). And I always included a Jam song on it! (obviously).
Being a DJ is one of the things I would like to do in the future. Congrats on that, Adidas!.
(And you should drink the juice instead of the beer ) |

Gov. DJ mix!!!
Hello again, :bm_r:
Ha Ha Ha, funny picture with text EvoV :lol! I needed a giggle like that, thanks for your always cool sense of humour . In regards to the decision of beer or juice, let me ask my friend B-Rad or Brad Gluckman what he would pick in this situation:
"Yo, dawg, if dee was on the J, I would partake in a Gin N Juice!!"
If your familiar with B-Rad or Brad Gluckman, he is a improvised character done on a hidden camera sketch comedy show called "The Jamie Kennedy Experiment" on the WB network here in the states. B-Rad is his homage to the white rapper from the hard hood of Malibu Cali....it's my favorite from the show . In another thought, if I was a DJ, I don't think I would want Arnold making a request, probably take 20 minutes with a translator to understand what the heck he was saying...! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

To give you an answer on what kind of tunes I like to play:
Well in the club I play other tunes than that I listen to at home. The most favorite style I like to play is definately Club Latin.
It's a very summerstyle, hip and off course sun-wanted kind of music style!
For an example listen to
Monika Kruze - Latin Lovers
Etherfox - The whirled you live (Only in UP-TEMPO!)
Mambana - Libre (also in UP-TEMPO!)
This is my kind of style, but I play Jamiroquai tunes as well, mixes I mean.... _________________

Ok, last saturday I lost my virginity on playing Vinyl. First I only played with CD's, but now I'm learning from a friend-DJ to mix with vinyl records!!!!
I have to say, that it is very cool, 'cos that's the real job!
