Copies
I was wondering...how many copies did A Funk Odyssey sell??
As far as I can tell...I knew that TWM sold 7 or 8 million (not sure), and Synkronized like 4 million (am I right?  ) and like 21 million over all...can somebody confirm this to me? It would be very helpful. Thanks |

It's not going to help you much and I'm not really sure that the figures I have (from the site of French equivalent of RIAA) are up to date.... anyway ! (These figures are for French sales only)
Emergency :
- Released: 10/06/93
- Double gold record: 14/06/94
- Platinum: 28/05/97
Return :
- Released: 10/10/94
- Gold record: 21/12/94
- Double Gold: 10/10/94 (obviously a mistake here!)
- Platinum: 11/07/02
Travelling:
- Released: 05/09/96
- Gold record: 05/09/96 (?)
- Platinum: 28/05/97
- Double Platinum: 30/06/99
Synkronized:
- Released: 11/06/99
- Double Gold: 16/09/99
- Platinum: 15/03/00
AFO:
- Released: 31/08/01
- Gold record: 30/10/01
- Double Gold: 13/02/02
- Platinum: 09/07/03
A gold record represents 100.000 copies sold (double is for 200.000) and Platinum is for 300.000 copies (double x2). The band has not received any "diamond" award (1.000.000 copies).
Live in Verona
- Released: 08/11/02
- Gold: 18/11/02 (10.000 copies)
- Platinum: 18/12/02 (20.000 copies)
- Double Platinum: 09/07/03 (40.000 copies)
Once again, these figures may not be up to date and are anyway not very precise, but they might help you a bit !

Hi,
As I needed this info about how many copies AFO sold, I found a site from 2002 that said at that time the album sold 3 million copies... I wonder how many did sell until today...
