Roy Ayers: Virgin Ubiquity!!!
Hello, :bm_r:
Well, I was sniffing around the "Jazz" section my local Tower Records and starting shuffling through the Roy Ayers CDs and to my surprise, I found this great CD ! The CD is called "Roy Ayers: Virgin Ubiquity-Unreleased Recordings 1978-1981", and MAN, talk about AMAZING! Some of the gems on this CD are the tracks: "Oh What A Feeling", "Sugar", "Brand New Feeling" & the killer alternate vocal version of the Ayers classic "Mystic Voyage"! If your a big Ayers, like JK, you will have to pick up this CD, it is absolute essential listening for all Jamiroquai fans . I bought it for $15, so it shouldn't be too expensive whereever you reside in the world . Here's the cover of the CD, thanks for listening and Peace!:
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I only got one album by mr. Ayers, and that's A Tear To A Smile from '75. But I've seen the record you're talking about, and I just happen to have a gift certificate worth about 1-2 cds. _________________ Supergroovalisticprosifunkstication! |

yes indeed, Roy Ayers is one of the most sampled and influential musicians around. Most of us know "Everybody Love The Sunshine" among many others sampled in Hio Hop. The CD you bought Jamirofan is truly for the fans of Roy Ayers. alot of the songs were never released but it is a very worthwhile buy.
You should also check out Herbie hancock's album "Headhunters" _________________ Enter the mind of the coolpoet:
