Jamiroquai - Now on your phone!
You may have read over at The Funkin Site that a service has been launched for mobile phones that allows you to hear Jay's voice when you recieve messages on your phone!
Theres a brilliant commercial of Jay recording the messages as well, he says things like.
'Hello, this is Jamiroquai!'
'Check this out!'
'Come on!'
'Mail Mail Mail!'
'Can you hear?'
'Hey you'
'Four' 'Three' 'Two' 'One' (I can't imagine what these would be used for...)
'Download my Voice'
And some Japanese sayings as well. You can also hear him say 'Jammy-quai!' and a making a phone ringing sound at some point as well. It's all good, I wish it would come out over here, I'd love to have 'Mail Mail Mail' when I recieved messages!  |

 Hello,
UH  ! I didn't think JK would do something like this to make more extra money on the side, though it's a good idea! But I am kind of shocked he record the phone greeting, "Hello, this is Jamiroquai", I just hope other bandmembers hears that one, talk about grounds for a fist-up! Well, this bit of news got me thinking, and I have come up with a funny list of "rejected Dwango cellphone JK Greetings",  Hope you find them funny :
*REJECTED JK CELLPHONE GREETINGS*
1. "Here is Denise's phone number for all you lonely guys."
2. "Yes, the blades came 'standard' with my AFO Hat!"
3. "I just posted on 'J-Funk'...Ha Ha Ha...just kidding!"
4. "I wear the glasses to cover up my eye's wrinkles."
5. "The 6th album will come out when I want it to!"
6. "Camping is fun...when your rich!"
7. "I just wrote a new song about my favorite toothbrush!"
8. "If your wondering, all my cars are at peak performance!"
9. "Hi and Bye!"
10. "I have fans Online....on what?...a fishing rod?!?"

did jay said only for himself "hi this is jamiroquai" or for the band coz if its just for him then i am really pissed off,for whole my life i am fifghting against the people that say that jamiroquai is jay kay and now this...
please tell me that i got it wrong..

Well, I'm glad that often Jay says for example "thank you for coming to watch the band" etc. but some times he just is the cocky man ..

Well, just look at Jamiroqua's official web site: Jay Kay's Official Web Site Now that is sad!
I too hear often something like: Oh yeah, Jamiroquai, I like him.
Although, If he would say "Hi, this is Jay Kay from Jamiroquai", that would be kind a long message, comparing to this. If he would say "Hi, this is Jay Kay", people would be like  or there would be no effect. |

Hello again, :bm_r:
  Your right MteyKay, that's very much still the whole view of Jamiroquai in the States . I have meets loads of fellow music fans at my favorite record stores, and when a discussion of Jamiroquai was drummed up by me, always got the same and different sounding answer, "Oh Jamiroquai, I love that guy's music!"  And every time I hear that answer, my head is in my hands and I always have to say the following reminder, "Jamiroquai is NOT one GUY, BUT a BAND!"  I also always try to keep a calm state of mind with that, sometimes if the discussion had gotten lengthy, I can lose my cool. But that's just me, thanks for listening ! Peace!

Well, considering Sony never wanted to sign the band in the first place, and Jay said it was the band or nothing, I don't think the band will ever be in a position to complain.
They're all laid back guys who enjoy making their music anyway

Mm... I've trying to think something to post in this topic, but I just don't know what to say!
Jay on the mobile phone¿? I remember I post about this some other time (with another company or something, I guess, don't know if it is the same) but I don't really know what is Jay thinking when he does this type of things. But I don't have anything to say about it, I don't think it is good or wrong... they must be having fun.
And yes, I have to say everytime too, "Jamiroquai is not a 'he', it is 'them'"! (although some times I also have to say 'it is not she!' ).
