Don't know how to go to a performance
Dear Jamirofans,
18 years old, fan since I was 8 years old, and still never been to a Jamiroquai Performance: This year I really want to go to a (full) performance of Jamiroquai...
I live in Holland so I have to go abroad. These are my options:
# Sun 03 - B-Live, Clapham Common, London, England
# Sat 09 - Nuke Festival, Nr Vienna, Austria - http://www.nuke.at
# Sun 10 - Moon & Stars Festival, Locarno, Switzerland - http://www.ticketcorner.com/ - Direct Links - German, French
# Tue 12 - Arena Del Mare, Genova, Italy
# Thu 14 - Music Village, Modena, Italy
# Fri 15 - Town Square, Lucca, Italy
What do you advice me and how can I manage tickets of the performances without a link (this is copied from jamiroquai.com). I don't want to go to Italy or so to see JK performing 2 songs
Please, help me, this is really important for me!!! |

Just in case, they'll do a European tour this autumn... and it'd be very surprising if they didn't stop by in the Netherlands. |

The first 3 you mentioned, jamiroquai are performing in festivals, so it will probably be a shorter set (around 1 hour) at the end of the day.
to see the full show, and a longer set (2 hours) you need to see a jamiroquai gig, rather than a festival that they are headlining. the bottom 3 look like they might be, but it could be worth checking first.
he has released several dates in september for england, they are all full shows and you are guaranteed a full 2hours and would be in the company of only jamiroqai fans.
as it's your first, i recommend buying tickets for the standing area (usually this is near the stage), you want to be free to dance! |

Jordy thanks soooo much
Really an important advice because I want to see a full show of 2 hours or something like that
Because I have got holidays I think I will go to Italy (Yes FRA ) and go again in Septembre to England maybe, or maybe Holland if that is possible...
Where can I get tickets of one of the three Italy dates? |

be careful because a couple of the italian dates are down as festivals. the lucca and naples ones, although if i remember rightly these are like month-long festivals where a different artist performs each day, so you might still get the full set.
If you are going to go travelling you want to make sure you go to a decent area, with other things to do. FRA is right, southern Italy is beautiful, if you can travel to north Italy from holland it shouldn't be much harder to get another few hundred miles? If it is a problem, I once stayed with my ex-g/friend's parents outside florence. It's very nice round there and there is a gig near there in Lucca. This is closer to North-ish Italy.
The gig in Naples is called a 'free festival', don't know if that means genuinely free? - FRA should be able to help you out.
I'm guessing if you are 18 you've not much experience travelling on your own or just with friends? I'd recommend checking which gigs still have tickets, then checking out transport & accommodation costs (these can vary HUGELY depending on a couple of hundred miles and the time of year). Then book everything on the same day. I've travelled round most of mainland europe and there's really good, cheap hostels everywhere, they are often fun and you meet some great people. But I never went far south into Italy so I can't be sure round there.
Finally, there's not much to do in any of the English cities, The Nottingham gig is 20 miles from my house but you'd need a car to see most the sites. The best bet would be Manchester, because it's a lively city with some good bars & nightclubs. I'm surprised there's not a full London gig in there.

Yeah, u r right: this gig is totally free 'coz it's inserted into the circuit of the "Cornetto Algida Free Festival".
This is the beautiful square (called Piazza Plebiscito) in which JMQ will perform.
