Thanks Diego for doing this research update. It's very interesting. A bit disappointing though that the album mostly can not hold in the top charts. May be new singles will change that. But I am afraid, that too much time passes until the next singles come, and that they won't lift the album up too much. Anyway, the next single has to be damn good and succesful, to change that.

Hey!

Thanks for the updates Diego!

I agree with Monsium...it's a shame to see Dynamite's chart position fall so quickly. However, I have a strong feeling that the release of Seven Days In Sunny June will change things for the better. I intend to promote it as much as humanly possible here in the UK. It's summer and I can't think of a better track to groove to in this gorgeous weather we're having! People will buy it! Wink

i dont know why, but i do feel glad that Dynamite is not doing so good on the charts...it's not that i think Dynamite is suck and deserved a poor selling, Dynamite is a good album, it just that i don't want Jamiroquai get too much airplay until people get sick of Jamiroquai...let me put it this way...i just don't want Feel Just Like It Should or Seven Days In Sunny June being the next Hollaback Girl...

chill guys, i think Dynamite is doing all right on the charts...3 years without any album, the musical changes, departured of some important band members and also Jay's ON and OFF drugs problem, yet he managed to pull out an album that still a well-received all around the globe...

Actually, the first chart position is the global one, the one with Dynamite at number 2, the second chart, is from European charts.

Thanks Diego,

This has painted a very realistic picture of the loyalties in royalties of the different nations . . . and the British aren't going do us proud are they ???

A lot of research darling, and greatly appreciated.

And do you know what . . . that's what is all about Jamily - sharing all those tedious and boring thoughts and trivia that appear so to the average fan, yet are little gems to each of us !!!

:-))))) h

Looks like a mixed bag as far as Dynamite's first impression goes...who knows, maybe FJLIS will go over well here in the States and cancel out the average ratings in some parts of Europe. Personally, I think Seven Days will help out the album, too bad we have to wait until August to see the results on the charts.

I think so too. I was also thinking that when AFO was released in the US, the World Trade Center tragedy ocurred. And now with Dynamite, the terrorists attacked London! They have bad luck!!!!
