JamiroFan's Review of "Napoleon Dynamite"!!!
buffaloman_R Hello, :bm_r:

Very Happy I was all "grins" this past Monday when I went to a free sneak preview of the great indie movie called "Napoleon Dynamite" Very Happy. It was a "packed house" at the showing too, I nearly didn't get a seat Sad. But I did get a free "Napoleon Dynamite" T-shirt for my troubles...hehe. Anyhoo, the movie was a large "hoot and a holler" of a little movie. Here's what the movie is about: *thanks to the IMDB.COM*

Plot Summary for
Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
Preston, Idaho's most curious resident, Napoleon Dynamite (Heder), lives with his grandma and his 31-year-old brother (who cruises chat rooms for ladies) and works to help his best friend, Pedro (Efren Ramirez), snatch the Student Body President title from mean teen Summer Wheatley (Haylie Duff).

Very Happy As mentioned a little bit at the end of this summary, the best part of the whole movie is when Napoleon's best friend Pidro has to do a skit at the end of his speech. Napoleon has a moment of clarity, runs up to the control room and gives the sound guy a cassette he had been using to learn to dance too. Napoleon gets up on stage alone and starts rocking out to "Canned Heat" by Jamiroquai! I was nearly dancing in the aisles of the theater, so I limited my "rocking out" to revolving my head to the beat. Overall, a AMAZING movie, with a perfect tinge of Jamiroquai to make a great night for me Wink! I give this movie...

Thanks for reading my review and I hope you all are able to see the movie when it comes out near you Wink! Peace!

Sincerely,

Free Showings all around the States!!!!
buffaloman_R Hello again, :bm_r:

Wink To help out Beena and my fellow American Fans, I got some great news concerning "Napoleon Dynamite" Wink! They are doing loads of "free showings" of the movie around the states, and if you want to see it near you, follow these instructions:

1. Click over to the Official "Napoleon Dynamite" website at:
http://www2.foxsearchlight.com/napoleondynamite/
2. Click on "Go to Official Site".
3. On the animated Flash screen, click on "Free Showings".
4. On the new open window screen, click on "My Location" and highlight the city in the States you live nearest too.
5. If you have a "free showing" near you, click on the "RSVP" icon.
6. Type in your first & last name, e-mail address and how many seats you would like for that showing.
7. Momentarily, you will receive a "RSVP E-mail confirmation" of the night and location of the free showing you are going to attend, I recommend you print it out and take it with you so you can get into your local showing with "proof of registering for free tickets"...and that's it, pretty easy eh? ;-)

There you go, to the fans who are able to see "Napoleon Dynamite", Wink I hope you have a great time and Peace Wink!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Smile "Napoleon Dynamite" is still trucking along in our movie theatres here in the states, really being well received over here Smile. Finally, I found a load of pictures from the movie on Google, here are some of my favs Wink:

The first picture is of Napoleon (Jon Heder) and his new friend Pidro (Efren Ramirez) about drop off a cake to Summer's house in Pidro's effort to ask her to the dance.

Here's a nice banner pictures from the Official site for the movie, Napoleon Dynamite in the middle, his brother Kip (on the right) and his Uncle Rico (on the left).

Here's another picture of them dressed to sell 32 piece tupperwear kitchen storage cases door-to-door.

And finally here are the actors of "Napoleon Dynamite" in reality, starting on the left with Efran Ramirez (Pidro), Aaron Ruell (Kip), Jon Gries (Uncle Rico), Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) & Jared Hess (Writer & director of the movie).
