Which director would you like to be directing the new video?
Hello Jamirotalkers,
I didn't know where to post this but if any moderator thinks it should be on another section, please move it...
I was thinking which director should direct the video for the first single? Like every one of them has different ideas and concepts, I would like to see what you fans want.
I am waiting for your replies!!

I'd say new material, new director... Seems to make sense... You can't live off the re-running of old glories!!

There's the 3 big dogs when it comes to doing U.S. music videos. Spike Jonz, Hype Williams (if you're more into the hip hop video mastermind), and Joseph Kahn has been doin a lot of videos for the famous pop stars lately. He did Britney's Toxic, Beyonce's Me, myself and !, and a ton of others. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

I'm not really familiar with any video directors but I like whoever did the video for Little L, that video looked so fun! _________________ This is our corner of the Earth |

Hehe, the one you're talking about beena is Stephane Sednaoui. Well, if you liked the videos of 'Star Guitar' and 'Let Forever Be' of Chemical Brothers, 'Fell In Love With A Girl', White Stripes; 'Come Into My World', Kylie Minogue.... or the movie 'Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind', you will surely like Michel Gondry. I would LOVE to see what this guy can make with Jay's dance movements!

yes diego that guy makes the best videos;when i saw star guitar i asked myself what the *uck is this?some trains passing by,some people on the station, some houses in the background, how stupid;then i realized that those people represented the notes, houses are the beats, other stuff in the background bass, all synkronized with the music, just BRILLIANT!! _________________ "on the bass st.st..st..stuuu zender!!" |

Yes cheeeba lover!! I thought the same thing too! And like EvoV said, I have all Chemical Brothers CDs, and two months ago I bought the DVD, where you can see how Michel Gondry made the video for Star Guitar. He started doing the notes with things in one paper (putting the drums at the top, other sounds in the middle, etc), then he did that on the street with oranges, shoes, etc. This guy actually makes the best music videos!!

MICHEL GONDRY!!!!!
Before I read any of the responses I knew that was the man. Have you seen the Cibo Matto video SUGAR WATER? Or the Kylie Minogue video? Or Beck's DEADWEIGHT?
Oh man, this guy is incredible, I wish they would pick him for a video, they'd work perfectly together. |
