Jean Michel Jarre
Ola
Well i don't know if anyone likes Jean Michelle Jarre.
I know G3 is a big fan of it , he already give me some musics from Jarre.
Well , its a electro music , i don't know very well the year of formation of it but if G3 see this topic can say it more things about it.
For the electo sound lovers , (i also like it , not to listen it in jamiroquai),here is a good value.
One best things that i like to see in Jarre is the wonderfull multi lights and fireworks concerts , i never saw , but in pics and movies looks awsome!
Some of my Favourite songs:
* Équinoxe 4
* Oxigene 4 and 8
* magnetic fields
* Rendez-vous 4
* chronologie 4 _________________ hooked up |

Jean Michelle Jarre is one of my favourites. I always liked the music, but I only recently (well, 2 years ago) found out the actual name of the artist. Up to now I have Oxygene and I want to get Équinoxe, but with money being very tight at my end it's a problem

I read a nice background about Jarre once but can't seem to find it on the internet, or I could have given some info about him... I also lost the CD booklet from Oxygene (well, it's probably in the mess somewhere)
Good to see someone else interested in Jarre too _________________ By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II - Now legally Licenced to navigate the Public Highways again.

I just found this topic by accident, since I don't look in the Offtopic forum that often, but nice to see a thread about one of my favorite artists :)
He is the son of famous composer Maurice Jarre and has actually been around since 1976. But I first began to like his music around 1988-89 ...
Oxygene (1976) and Equinoxe (1978) are his first "true" albums, before them he made some less-known soundtracks etc. They are good, but I don't like the original albums that much because of the old sound, I like the newer live versions of his old songs better.
Check out his fantastic concerts, Rendez-Vous Houston (1986), London Docklands (1988) and Paris La Défense (1990), then you'll know what I mean.
By the way, he was in Denmark a few years ago and gave a concert in a windmill park. It was called 'AERO'. Unfortunatly, the concert is not released on video :(
