Stevie Wonder <3
Oh fellow Jamirotalkers, I've just recently experienced one of the greatest concerts I've ever been to (after Jamiroquai of course:) )!
Stevie Wonder performed a 2h 30 minutes concert here in Pori Jazz festival which is now actively running until next sunday. And it was so great. I couldn't imagine that he can STILL be that GOOD, genious, humorous, happy, warm and sympathic person! :)
He performed 22 songs including Golden Lady, Sir Duke, Higher Ground, I Wish, DOn't You Worry 'bout a Thing, MasterBlaster, Do I Do, Another Star, I Just Called to Say I Love You, You Are the SUnshine of my Life, My Cherie Amour, Lately, Signed sealed delivered, That Girl, Isn't She Lovely and more...
And he played two new songs from the forthcoming A Time to Love -album. The first one was a nice ballad but the other one.. What a funky track! It was called SO WHAT THE FUZZ and it's really cool. Very strong keyboard-riff and nice melody and harmony. Magic!
The release of the new album is delayed but if it's out any time soon I strongly recommend it. I will definitely buy it. And if you ever have a chance to see Stevie live, it's a must. And the band was very groovy and talented. Every song sounded better live than in any record. And stevie played piano, keyboards and harmonica perfectly.
! Thumbs up big time! _________________ kite carrier (geuze)

I hope he played Superstition too, that was his strongest track. By the way to all of you Jamirotalkers:

Cool Geuze!!!
Hello, :bm_r:
WOW, sounds like it was a AMAZING set for Stevie, thanks for sharing that Geuze ! In regards to his new album being pushed back, yeah, I think it was pushed back cause Stevie needs time to get over the passing of his wife . His wife died due to complications from cancer, I think all music fans like I send our condolences to Stevie and his whole family during this hard time. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Yes. I little correction to that. Yes, Syreena did pass away. And she was his first wife and they were married a couple of years in the beginning of the 70's. She was very inspirational for his music. They split up but stayed very good friends all the way and now she's gone. Stevie was lost some other close people recently too and Ray Charles was one amongst them. That's it. _________________ kite carrier (geuze)
