Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium!!!
The RHCP are to return this year with a double album!!

Here is some information from Wikipedia:
Quote:
In 2005, they completed their ninth studio album, Stadium Arcadium, which is to be a double album revisiting their funk, punk, psychedelic, and metal roots in turn producing some of the hardest material they ever released. Some songs, such as "21st Century", "Tell Me Baby", "Ready Made", "Desecration Smile", "Dani California" (which was confirmed to be the very first single), "Charlie", amongst others have been confirmed to be on the album and some were performed live in concerts in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and New York. The album is to be released in May 2006 with a world tour being launched.

I can't wait!!!!!!

Oh cool!

I bought 'Californication' when I started to enjoy music, and I thought it was a great album. 'By The Way' wasn't that good, but I still liked it.

I will surely buy this new one. Thanks for the news.

I think a lot of the long term RHCP fans were not as keen on By The Way as it is admittedly a lot more mellow then any of their previous albums. I think I remember reading that Anthony Kiedis was unhappy at these claims but i think its true.

The good thing about By The Way is that it actually introduced many fans to the RHCP like myself, who have then delved deeper into the back catalogue and found that they have done much better (and different sounding) albums.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik is Rock/Funk at its absolute best and as my previous post said, they are going back to their roots which is really great news.

This is certainly the album of 2006 i'm most looking forward to, followed by the new Scissor Sisters offering!

Right on.
I stopped listening to them after Mothers Milk, which I loved back then.

I loved Anthony's energy, I've watched Flea evolve over the years.

I will most likely purchase this album. They were one of my favorites back in the day, when I was all about Suicidal Tendencies (the band not intentions), Skinny Puppy, Bad Brains, etc...
