Well, what can I say? I nonwise nothing on jamiroquai. So, i bought A Funk Odyssey and i like it (i dunno why, I remember I saw the Cd and i bought it). But the sound that marked my life was the one of the third album: Cosmic Girl, Virtual Insanity, Use the Force, You are my love and Didjital Vibrations among others. And I like it so much because my musical etnies are jazz and latin music, but I enjoy other kinds of music, like techno, dance, house... My music is extended from de 60's to the 00's. Forty years of good music. So i spend all the days listening jam and other jazzy and latin music bands like Amigos Invisibles (Venezuelan funk talent), Tito Puente (Latin jazz), Andy Duran (another venezuelan talent) (Latin Jazz), and a lot of others...
Now I ask you the same: how did u approach to jam's sound....how many times ago....why did u love it so much?
Bye... Edgar _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Eh eh eh !!! oh, mine is a long story!!!! I'm 28 and in 1993, for my 18th birthday (in Italy this is a very important date, 'cause u become person of age ) i organized a big and cool party with a lot of people, friends....so i contacted (creating great situation!!!!) the most important DJ of my town: he came from a long trip to UK _ London, mainly_ and he told me:" this night will be a success: i've with me a lot of new and interesting music, especially a new group called Jamiroquai" I said:" ok....the only thing i want is seein' people dancin' and havin' fun....this is my party!" And so it was!!!! |

Well, at least you're an old fan!!! I'm fan since 2003 when jam was in the Midnight Sun Tour... So, this is my first experience on an album release. So how was your party??? which jam songs the Dj played? _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

eh eh eh party was really really...hot!!!!
First song Dj played was "Too young to die" and then "If I lke it. I do it": i remember that night very well!!!! finishing with "Blow your mind"....really exciting!
Few days later i bought "EOPE" so i began "studyin'" songs' texts: i could identify my self in what Jamiroquai had written, and music, so ....how can i say.... fascinating, kidnapped me!!!!
Their music was, is and will be part of my life....in every good or bad moment they're with me!!!! |
