Working title of the new album: Dynamite ???
Hello all,
the Daily Mirror mentioned a bit of news about the new album in a recent article about Jay's antics at the weekend (see the discussions in the Jay Kay section of this forum).
| Quote: |
| This week Jay flies back to New York, where he'll stay for a fortnight and put the final touches to the album, which has the working title of Dynamite |
What do you think about the title Dynamite???
For me it sounds powerfull, loud, explosive... and somehow a bit rocky, too.
It also reminds me at Ms Dynamite and Napoleon Dynamite.
What do you think?
Consider that this mustn't be the final name of the album...

:wtf:
I personally don't like it (as you can see). It's too simple for Jamiroquai!
What is the meaning of that? How could you explain what it means, all previous titles has some other meaning. |

At the moment I can't decide if I like it or not...
I also can't see a deeper meaning but it could express the music style of the album. Could be a hint that the album will be explosive ;)
I just have a picuture in my head of a buffaloman-dynamite-stick with a fuze on his head... _________________ ~ I look up to Heaven, every star I see is mine.

Buffalo-man with fuse? That'd be a pretty good album cover! I like those types of covers....the Canned Heat single cover is my favorite. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. There would have to be some sort of reason why they would give it that name as a working title.
Unless when Jay was being asked about the Napolean Dynamite movie it just stuck in his head.
It's a nice little piece of news anyway _________________

"Jamiroquai is Dy-No-Mite!!!"
Hello, :bm_r:
Oh please ! I agree with Mteykay, this is nothing but "Tabloid fodder" being used as usual to "stir up the Jam fanbase"! I mean, the parallels between this proposed titled and the other Dynamite references is too lucid. So, I guess as always, "Back to Sony confirmation" mode for us yet again. If this rumour turns out to be true, I can only imagine one person who will make a guest appearance on this album doing vocals on the chorus of the new Jam title track to the album:
"Ladies & Gentlemen...JJ Walker!!!" (JJ trots out on stage and grabs the mic) "Hhheelllooo....How's it going all you fly mamas out there! Alright, I'm JJ Walker, the NEW lead singer of JaMiro-Quai, oh that is, I'm doing back up vocals tonight! As you can see, I got some "Canned Heat" in my heels Too-night (Does James Brown mock dancing)...Ooohhh..Yeah baby!! Ok, ok, with my ruckus out of the way, let's git dis party started and light up some......Dy-No-Mite!!!" (JJ claps his hands together as Jamiroquai starts playing)
Ha Ha Ha ! I know, a most unlikely scenario, but still, it would RULE wouldn't it? Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I just hate the name.
I feel like it´s gonna be the worst and more commercial album of all.
You´ll see. |

Hello Jamirotalkers,
Ive been out all day and now I find that we have a provisional 6th album title! Honestly, I dont care the title of the album, as long as the content is very very good.
Dynamite,

-Travelling Without Moving
-Synkronized
-A Funk Odyssey.
Compare 'Dynamite' with the other album titles... I don't know what to say... But well, i prefer 'Dynamite' than 'Hits' as somebody said before... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!
