Best non-studio JMQ song
Hello Jamirotalkers.
I want to start a new poll (my first one!!!), cause I liked what came out on the “best love ballads” (although some of them were not ballads, actually). Anyway, I would like to know which non-studio track is the best JMQ ever performed live (until now):

Givin' Me A Bad Name!!!
 Hello, :bm_r:
 Good poll idea Diego ! Well, I voted for the classic early Jamiroquai song "Givin' Me A Bad Name", the only Jamiroquai song where JK discusses racial issues. One thing I thought I would mention, I consider the song "Wild Style" as a leadin into Jamiroquai past cover of the song "Rapper's Delight", but that's just what I think  . This poll is the reason why I don't ever claim to be as hardcore of a fan as most of you. I haven't even heard most of these songs, or heard of their existence... Where can I find some of these songs? |

A Funk Odyssey
I voted for 'A Funk Odyssey', and it is a shame that we never got a high quality recording of that track. Not even as a b-side  They could easily have released it along with 'Do It Like We Used To Do'.
Well, let's hope they will play it at some future concerts though, since it is very unlikely that it will be on the forthcoming album.

I had expected a song just like "Funk Odyssey" to be the opener to the last album; too bad they didn't have it done yet. Remember how there was going to be a song called "Synkronized" released around the time of the fourth album, but it never came out? Here's a quote from producer Al Stone in a 1999 interview: "We also had two tracks, 'Planet Home' and 'Synkronized', which had entirely sampled sounds played in."

Well Jaminneapolis, the songs Life Goes On, Let Me Believe, Stu's Tune, Do That Dance and Wildstyle you can find them at the jam.pl site (check Jamirofans post on Search & Find, I am pretty sure they are still available for download).
Mr Boogie I think it is on Amandas website (Smellbob), Who The Funk Do You Think You Are I found it using Kazaa.
As for Funk Odyssey and Cannabliss they were available on funkin.com a long time ago (2 different versions of each one). I dont know if you can find them on Kazaa, but the best thing you can do is to contact with someone who has them by using MSN (you can add me, I have them but I do not have internet at home, so I will have to be at my grandmothers house, were I do can send them but the sad thing is I dont conect from there so often ) or the trade is always a good choice.
And Givin Me A Bad Name, well that one I really dont know. I got it because my father found the Too Young To Die 1993 ORIGINAL from Italy a few years ago.

Well some of this songs..serve to a demo for another tunes, i don't know if you already fell it.
 soo hard to me...(me OldSchool) i tink that Life goes on in very nice..with the saxphone or trompete tunes  delight me! (rock the house ,says djDzire )
Mr.Boogie...is a 1ºsound..camed from Sleep and Sliding at least i tink it is.Don't like so much the begin of this song , but on the middle , came a good very good song!
Do That Dance..the intro of song is used in the finish of many performances of Use the Force during the Tour of TWM.Another Grate tune.
Stu's Tune...is like the name of music say..a stu song..all around the bass.
Wildstyle is a Big tune..again the Bass and dj Dzire got wonder scratch on this song! We miss Stu and Dzire
Abouth Shoot the Moon , one of my favourites of last years ! Very Good song..at least i hope it can be edited to the new album

For me the best one is Shoot the Moon, a good combination between drums, guitars, voices and bass, uhmm forgettin' percussion. Do that Dance and Let me Believe are great songs too...

Hello there,
I was listening on Saturday the Songs for Manitu bootleg, and I really enjoyed Let Me Believe and Do That Dance... I wish they could release some time an album with all this unreleased songs recorded in a studio, cause they really worth it, they are good tunes!!

Yeah Diego, I exactly feel the same way ! But you know, we will have to wait a while to hear more "Snooze You Lose" caliber unreleased material, maybe in a future Jamiroquai boxset. A large boxset I'm hoping, maybe in 10-12 years time, will have to be at least 4-5 CDs long with killer art from all their albums (8 albums in total by then?!?), and maybe all packed into a JK TWOM era shaped boxset case...they would be cool, don't you think?
