Steps To the New Album (New Comic Series:Part 1#:Colors)!!! Hello, Well, in a further effort to develop my comedy writing, I'm introducing a new limited series of Jami-comic posts titled "Steps to the New Album" . The tone of these pieces of jape will circulate around JK, his Girlfriend, and the bandmembers in funny situations on their way to finishing the 6th Jam album for all the fans. The first bit I offer was from my original post about JK's new hat which was colored "pink". Fellow fan Mandy replied with the idea that the color of cover of the new album could be pink. With that idea, I let my imagination go on another new funny bit.. Enjoy !: STEPS TO THE NEW ALBUM: SITUATION 1#: Picking album colors! JK and his girlfriend sit at a oblong cherrywood table at Sony HQ in downtown London. JK eyes his Rolex watch impatiently and looks at the empty meeting room. Two overweight Sony execs waddle into the room and JK says, "Cor, it's about time mates, so how is the CD cover, back and tray art looking for 'Dynamite'?" They both waddle into their chairs to the immediate left of JK and right of his girlfriend who continues to stare off into space. The first execs mumbles, "Well, here are some sample covers for your consideration, for the front, back and CD tray covers." JK shuffles through the color range booklet and goes, "Oh, I like this one, what's it called." The other execs slides on his glasses and looks at the color in the booklet that JK is pointing at. He slurs to JK, "Oh, that's 'gunpowder' Mr. Kay, that would be a good pick for the CD tray color." JK nods to that pick, and then picks out the color 'beige' for the back cover of the album. Then JK looks for the right color for the cover while biting is finger. JK's girlfriend comes out of her stare and glances at the booklet JK is rummaging through. The girlfriends shrieks out, scaring all of them and says, "OI!!! I like dat color!" JK looks down in surprise at her boney finger pointing at the color "pink". JK scratchs his head and says to her in a sweet voice, "Darling, I don't that would be a good color for the cover of my new album." The Girlfriend rolls her lip and replies, "Oi! I like dat color, it really would bring out your eyes with yer bandmates....PLEASE!" The girlfriend gives JK the Ol' "Puppy dog" eyes, JK winces, sighs lightly and says to the gruffs from Sony, "Cor, ok ok, guys if she wants a 'pink' cover, then I want a 'pink' color!" Both execs look dumbfounded to each other, whisper to each other and then smile at JK. The say together nearly in unison, "OK Mr. Kay, Right away!" They grab the color booklet and waddle out of the meeting saying, "Good day Mister Kay!" JK says in a befuddled voice to his girlfriend, "Oi, why did you pick 'pink'?" His Girlfriend gives him a sly smile and remarks, "Oh honey, let's get some lunch, you look famished!" JK and his girlfriend walk out of the meeting room, JK thinks to himself, "Cor, what is her name again?!?" I hope you enjoyed reading that, more coming soon ! Peace!
