I am not a hardcore-fan, but can we still meet? I will go to the Rock-Im-Park-Gig in Nuernberg!
Where and when do you want to meet?
Do you already have your tickets? |

Unfortunately, I live in the west of France (to give you an idea : 500 km at the west of Paris) and I have little money
For the friends, I think it' s possible to make a trip with fans of this forum??????? |

WOW, this really is far away! It is about 1000 km from here to Paris. Well, if you can't make it (i hope for you, that you will find a way anyway!!!!), i keep my fingers crossed, that jamiroquai will come to France for some festivals too! And who knows, maybe we will meet there...
About making a trip with fans from this forum. CosmicMouse and I met a nice and funny girl from Germany at j.talk and we met in London when we went to the Brixton Gig in December. And we also met some other people, that we knew from the internet. So, you see, it can happen!! _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

I will be there too
Hi Everybody!
I intend to go to the Rock im Park Festival too. I will bear a huge flashing sticker on my forehead saying: I AM NOT A JAMIROQUAI HARDCORE FAN. Allright, just kidding.
I could convince my husband to make the trip to Nurenberg, so am very glad that we take these 3 days for the Festival.
As most of you know, mariage is a matter of compromise. So I will not be able to see Jami o the 18th at Rock-am-Ring and will most probably sit within the roof and not in the Central Area. This means I will not stand in the first row with you CosmicMouse and CosmicBear.
Too bad. It must be fun to shout one's gut out with people who share the same passion.
Anyway, I will LOVE to meet all of you fans. I know that Supernova from J.Talk also intends to go. We have to arrange some meeting point, after the concert maybe. Has any of you an idea where this would be appropriate? |

maybe we can exchange phone-numbers? (cell-phone) and make up a meetingpoint when we are there? i have never been to that certain festival, so i don't know if there is a point which is easy to spot or something like that... _________________ Dear Auntie Em. I am REALLY from another galaxy!
In my galaxy, there is no cell phone! People use their telepathic skills.
(Booh, I would hate having someone talk into my head!)
So you will have to give me your number, if it does not bother. (Serious, I have no cell phone).
I will have a regular telephone nbr in a hotel in Nurenberg, so you can call
me there.
No need to tell you that I am excited about meeting hardcore fans and to have my husband meet them too, so that he is reassured about what I am doing while spending so much time on the JAMI sites.
Will you be at the Ring too? |

OK
Thank you CosmicBear,
I send you an e-mail today on gmx, also regarding the CDs.
I can't wait to meet other Jami fans!
Yesterday I was in a small club in Berlin, at a 1-man concert of .. Lloyd Cole. (Yes, this guy still lives !).
Although the club was so small, it was full-full-full and as I am quite short, I did not have such a good view. That was quite frustrating.
So it reassured me that my husband insists on taking a ticket for the seats on the outer circle of the Frankenstadion at Rock im Park.
I am (almost) sure I will have a better view from above to the main stage, than if I were standing in the .
I could also use your solution and wait in the front row at the main stage, starting 7 AM, but I will not convince my husband for this either!
Still, I am afraid that I will have a "Jami Crisis" during their performance and that I will have to jump out off the outer circle to go in the arena and get closer to them and join you and CosmicMouse and the other brave fans in the front row!
I might buy a dog leash and have my husband hold it tight to avoid any accident of that sort... |

well, the dogleash might work, that's true. but if you insist of joining us in the front row and your husband truly doesn't feel like it, i will asure him that i will take care of you and prevent you from jumping on stage and run away with jay kay ;)
i saw your other post, asking about the best seat in the seated area. sorry, i don't know how they will set it up. actually, i am quite surprised that they have seated areas. how will they do it with four stages? anyway, i am sure, you will be able to have a look at a map when you buy your tickets to find out what's the best area is. oh, and maybe you have a good camcorder with a good focus and can tape the concert?
i just answered your email, btw ;)

My galaxy is...
My galaxy is really something special... there are no videocam recorders either!
I will try to get some more infos about the outer circle for the Rock-im-Park. I wish I were rich enough to buy a day ticket for May 19th and have the possibility to go in the arena only for Jamiroquai.
I can keep on dreaming.
There is no way I will ran away with JK during the concert because:
#1 I am polite and I would rather give my place to CosmicMouse (who deserves it more than I do)
#2 Sharing the concert with my husband (even from the outer circle) is more exciting than running away with JK!
Still thank you for your very kind attention, CosmicBear. |
