My hard luck :(
Im not sure how much you people know about me, but one of my favorite hobbies is horse gambling. Im not a gamble-holic. I don't go out gambling everyday, and Im not broke because I gamble. But I go out every weekend with about a $100 and see how i do with it. Some weekends I lose it all, on others I win good money. Sometimes I do contests where you pay money up front, you bet on real races, and if you have the most winnings you win prize money as well.
There was a contest yesterday at the place I always gamble at. It's called Canterbury Park and it's an a suburb of Minneapolis called Shakopee. They paid prize money to the top 10 places, and the top 3 won big prize money plus an all expenses paid vacation to Las Vegas in January to play ain a big $100,000 tournament. I did quite well, but I finished 4th:( I was so close to winning a trip to Vegas, so Im sad.
But I profited in the contest about 750 dollars. I won a lot of money this weekend, but Im disappointed. Oh the ironies in life... Here's the link if you wanna read about it.

I promise Im not one of the dudes pictured. Im quite younger and I hope people think Im better lookin than those dudes lol. I drank away my grief that night lol. That kind of stuff will put you in the mood to get hammered. Lata y'all. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

Well I get this topic back "on-topic". Since Im going back to the horse track for more betting either tommorow night or Saturday, I must quote a wise man. I must quote a prophet. I must quote an icon in the betting world. We will call this man "Buck". Actually we will call him "Uncle Buck". Buck Russell in the movie "Uncle Buck" said something that every horse racing and dog racing bettor should ever say the day before (and yes I do mean the day before) they go to the races. And that quote is this:
"Today was a bad day... a bad, bad day... But tommorow will be better, because tommorow, we go to the track. Tommorow, we make money."
Amen to that brotha! R.I.P. John Candy _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

hmmm... Cocaine or gambling? I think I'll choose gambling as my addiction, except it's not daily. It's once a weekend. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

Once a week-end it's very reasonable.
And for the rest of the week, the drug is Jamiroquai ? _________________ Live P2P

My hard luck continued
It continued today by not hitting any bets in the Breeder's Cup races (the biggest series of races in America after the Triple Crown).
For you Euros out there, I was impressed by Ouija Board and Wilko. Wilko I heard will try going for the Kentucky Derby next year. So eventhough there were very few European horses in the races today, they represented well. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |
