Japan realease!
One starts to see there more clearly, the site of sale eil.com has just put in his listing the future album of the group in Japanese version with a great number of details on his contents (catalog number, etc), but however still not of title and tracklist. CD is listed for Wednesday October 27, that is to say a few days before 1 November which is the most plausible date aujourd'hui for l'Europe, as announced a few days ago on this site
www.eil.com
this is translated..from french to english..used the Altavista Translater

Japan is always a little bit earlier than the UK, that makes the Nov 1st release date so much more realistic!! _________________

Those expensive Japanese Imports!!!!
Hello,
(Looks at EIL.COM listing for new Jamiroquai import of either 6th album or 1st single at : http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=302400 . Frowns a bit and thinks, "What the hell?!? Come on, geez, $53 for a darn import!!!!")
Man, is it just me, or is that price a little TOO INFLATED ? I mean, what logical minded fan is willing to part with 30 Euros ($53) for the Japanese Import of the 6th Jamiroquai album? I'm assuming it is the 6th album being offered for preorder since it's close to the actual release date. This is the newest low in overpriced import CDs I have EVER seen, Sony should be ashamed of itself taking advantage of thirsty Jamiroquai Fans desperate to hear the new stuff . But that's just my take on it, I never thought prices would be set this HIGH!! Oh well, like the song, "Money Money Money....Monnnnneeeyyyyy!" Thanks for the news EvoV, always appreciated ! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

Sorry Rob :-(
Hello again,
I'm sorry for my candor Rob, it's just I think is such BS that Sony and CD retailers can get away with such unfair Import CD prices . It wasn't my meaning to put down the Euro currency, it's just...you have to draw line between a logical price and a completely ridiculous price for a import CD. I hope you understand me, take care and Peace !
Sincerely,

Are we Jamirocrazy fans residing in the United States of America really going to have to wait another two months for an early 2005 release, though? Because I just don't think I could make it!

Well, glad I have a really close friend in Japan who is also way into Jamiroquai. He'll be sending me a copy as soon as possible.
JamiroFan, new CDs in Japan go for around 30, then you have to add shipping across the world. 50USD isn't all that bad if you ask me. |

On a side note... In Europe we usually have to wait a few months (sometimes ½ year+) to get a new cd from an American artist...that's just the way it is. _________________ The name's Rob, just Rob |

hey hey!
Has anyone confirmed that this is really the 6th Album?
I mean it seems odd that the release will be first in Japan, and not only that but the price seems a little bit expensive for an album?
Could it be some special edition of any Jamiroquai albums?
What do you think?
Cheers,

Jamirofan,
Im not tryin to defend Sony at all. Seriously Im not, but let's make sure it isn't that website itself that is just extremely marking up the price, especially if they know other parts of the world (I.E. the U.S.) aren't going to have access to the cd for sometime after the Japan Release date.
Maybe Sony is the one marking it up, but if I owned a cd store in Japan I might do the same thing as this website is. They will get away with highway robbery. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |

Well, is the sixth album going to get put on iTunes? I mean, the others have been. And if so, will it get put on at the Japan release date or the UK release date or even (gasp) the US date?

Since the album is being released under the Sony label, it'll definately be released to ITunes _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |
