wishlist: who do you want to see remixing new tracks?
Ok, all you house lovers!
Who do you wish to see as a remixer of new tracks?
My wishlist would be:
Armand Van Helden (the legend!, would love to hear his remix of Jami)
Full Intention (just listen to this great remix (non Jami)WOW)
Knee Deep (superb Main Vein & Feel So Good)
Deep Swing (what can I say? Just listen to Main Vein I want it dub!)
Furuteshock (would love to hear another song like that Canned Heat remix)
Blaze (Little L remixes)
Masters @ Work (you all know what's the situation with EOPE M@W )
Pet Heller (mmm, his love dubs are just great)
Young Disciples (When you gonna learn!)
Daft Punk (that would be interesting experience)
Robbie Rivera (that would be even more interesting experience)
Get tha hell out of this wishlist:
Roger Sanchez aka S-Man (no no no, and especiall when Jay said he'll give tracks to him)
Bob Sinclair (well, I liked Little L's at first, but... this guy just isn't what he used to be)
Blacksmith (big no no)
Bini & Martini (I just don't like their ocean mixes although LF isn't so bad, I jsut want to hear something like that again)
Milk & Sugar (don't like them )
I know I forgot a bunch of them. As you can see, there are mostly DJs that already were remkxing for Jamiroquai. And all of them have second job besides mixing and that's remixing.
So. what's your wishlist? |

Of all the remixes, no matter how much I like them, I have to say that sheer perfection is reached everytime in the album editions. However, remixes that really made a difference to me, significantly, and bordering the value and sanctity of the album versions are:
The London Rican Mix of EOPE
and
Quasar Mix of Cosmic Girl
and at a push
Bionic Supachronic Mix of High Times
(the remix names sounds like the 'better than yours' routine of a bunch of school boys in the playground at break-time !!!)
I would enjoy remixes of these types, but not identical on my other favourites like Falling, If I Like It, BYM, TWM, Everyday.

Hello,
Hmmm....this is a hard pick, all the DJs have done a stellar job with the remixing of Jamiroquai's music . I would like to see them hook up with Bastone & Burnz, they did one of the best Jami remixes EVER: YGMS (Bastone & Burnz Club Mix). Also I would like to see more Mike City remixes of Jami Songs too, his Mike City Remix of YGMS was also exceptional. OK, so I'm picking some obsure DJs, but their remixes were SO GOOD ! Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

I think Milk and Sugar should have a go at this again....they did COTE and the long edit is brilliant, especially when all the beats and keys suddenly drop out to the acoustic guitar with Jay's vocals getting reverb. Awesome stuff. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Interesting mtey,
Mmm. I have to go for Morales, BUT I would love to hear a Cassius remix. I really like this duo, 'Au Reve' has some cool tracks.
Its difficult though, we already know that Roger Sanchez could be colaborating.

Hello there,
Is really difficult to say who is the best people to make a Jamiroquai's Remix. I have enjoyed always the MAW mixes for EOPE & Canned Heat, they are a so nice experience without that fuckin' drum like major part of techno mixes. About Morales, well, I just don't agree with some remixes, especially for the Cosmic girl except in the Classic instrumental. Another great ones are Full intention, Deep Swing & Futureshock, I love that Canned Heat mix! Anyway I prefer the live or studio Jami songs, that's the reason I didn't buy the You Give Me Something CD-single.
If you want to hear a great Jami remix, just want to hear Fingertips Dub of EOPE, included on the US 12" Releases of that single, & try to get some beer to drink and let your body be taken by the vibes.
Have a didgin' yourself, Nicolás. _________________ I'm slidin' down the wall
