Question Latin American Tour Hi there!!! I´m from Mexico City I was wondering if Jami would be on a LatinAmerican Tour on 2005 with the new album? The last time (and only) Jami was here: March 1999. (five years waiting for another great show...) Would be great to have´em here again soon. Anybody knows about dates, tours, etc??? Any info will be highly appreciated... Im from argentina..and the last time that Jamiroquai was here: 27 Y 28 August...1999 too...

Hey FunkEducation & Jamirobruno2 thanks 4 the welcome. Hehe, maybe my nick is just funny to latin people (you know... spanish pronuciation), for those who doesn´t speak/read spanish, it reads "J.K." The savings box is a great idea, I should do something like that. The only problem is that, because of the distance, a ticket from mexico to argentina is almost as expensive as a ticket to europe. But anyway... hope Jami don´t forget this corner of the earth (Latin America). BTW, has anybody heard the complete new single "Black devil´s car"? I just have a teaser (maybe 30 seconds) and I´m so curious about the sound of the new album..... Kind regards to the Jami fans around the world!! Saludos especiales para los fans latinos!!! Wondering about the sound of the new album..... any opinion? Being Jami, they can play ANYTHING and it sounds great. don´t you think? But my spyder-sense tells me that the new album will have a lot of guitars, a "Deeper Underground" style. With less 70´s pure funk tunes and maybe several dance and rythmic tracks (Canned heat & Love Foolosophy style). Just wondering...... Hello Latin Jamirotalkers, I have money saved for see them too. In fact, I am not going on vacation this summer only to see them when they come (if they come to Argentina). In an interview, Jay said that they were coming here on 2002, but nothing happened. So if they come, I'll be the happiest man on Earth because I met a lot of Jami fans here who are coming with me! Rock is inevitable.....think about the guy who's playing the guitar. That being said, I wouldn't want to them to turn into a metal band either, FunkEducation. si??...mira que aca las cosas con la economia estan bastante feas Edgar...ojala venga aca!!!,,,las dos veces que vino gracias a dios las ´pude ver y me parecieron fantasticas,,sobre todo la del 97...tenia 13 años nomas!..era un nenito..por suerte mi tia me acompaño!...sino solo no me dejaban... Pero bueno..siguiendo con lo anterior...yo por las dudas tengo mi cajita con mis ahorros...estas vacaciones voy a gastar poca asi sigo ahorrando mas..pero por suerte ya tengo lo suficiente.... Con respecto al estilo mas rockero...mmmm...me conozco y se que me va a gustar....pero me enloqueceria que fuera mucho mas como los primeros dos...con temas como mr moon..space...esos temas que los sonidos te vuelven locoo!! Esperamos (y seguimos esperando) demasiado tiempo...me imagino un buen CD...pero lo que siempre pienso y le digo a mis compañeros...ojala que esta cantidad de ansias que venimos acumulando todos los fans no nos traicione y una vez que escuchemos el cd digamos..."tuvimos que esperar tanto para esto??".....ojala q esto no pase.... un saludo grande a todos los fanas de latinoamerica....y estoy suplicando para que vengan aca!!!!....adios!!byebye! _________________ ..::There´s a Superman coming::..

... perdon por escribir en español pero que barbaridad! que esta diciendo Jamirobruno2, yo pienso que un buen fanatico tiene que aceptar todo lo que venga, yo no creo que volviendose jamiroquai una banda pop-rockera nos desilucione o nos deje de gustar (no a todos claro esta) pero aun asi yo pienso que si jamiroquai decidiese hacer mas ''deeper undergrounds'' lo haría bien... aunque esta no es mi cancion favorita precisamente... _________________ We've Got All The Funk We Need to Make Me happy!

Noooo hermano usted esta loco!!!! y disculpame la expresion!!! Jamiroquai deberia ser como bandas del estilo U2!!! esa banda tiene 15 años de formada, y siguen siendo los mismos musicos!!!!! y su musica sigue siendo la original!!!! Los rolling stones!!!! No los disfraces de Jamiroquai que se aparecieron con un concepto muy bueno, y despues por querersela tirar de Rock Stars cambian todo!!! Noo hermano asi no deberian ser las cosas... Jay Kay y sus mosqueteros deberian seguir con sus ritmos tradicionales... o almenos quedarse con Shoot the Moon.... No lo tomen tan mal!!!! Bueno, pues antes que nada, mi post anterior solamente era una especulación acerca del sonido del nuevo album. No quiere decir que yo deseé que suene así. Para mi, lo mejor de Jamiroquai son los funky tunes, y los ritmos con los que los fusionan y tampoco me gustaría que Jami se convirtiera en una mala imitación de Metallica o algo por el estilo. Si de mi dependiera, congelaría el sonido de Jami en EOPE, ROTSC o TWM, pero asumo que muchas bandas sufren cambios y eventualmente tendrán que experimentar nuevos sonidos como parte de una evolución musical. No creo que repecto a este tema haya respuestas correctas o incorrectas (para quien contestó "you´re wrong man") en realidad nadie está mal.... Suene como suene el nuevo album nos tendremos que aguantar y seguir apoyando a Jami como verdaderos fans. Yo creo ciegamente en todo lo que hace Jami y confío en que toquen lo que toquen va a sonar de maravilla, (con guitarras y distorsionadores, con sax, violines o lo que sea). Jami se puede dar ese lujo y muchos más, y mi gusto por ellos no está condicionado a que toquen lo que yo quiero y por eso me considero un verdadero fan.
