Cover Versions???
Hi, I was thinking after hearing Bad Girls just now, what tracks done by other artists would you like to hear done by Jamiroquai?? I can think of a couple, Back Down to Earth by Curiosity Killed the Cat, I think Jay would sing it fantastic! Or how about Love Enuff by Soul to Soul??

I think Cassius- "Sound of violence" would be perfomed just great by the band and, of course, J.K.´s voice.....

....... hey guys!!! What do you think about "Ring my bell"?

Regards

I agree with Stay Free. In fact most of the songs on Late Night Tales would be pretty good. I also like Superstition.

My wish list is:
Dream Come True - Brand New Heavies
Sex Machine - James Brown
(Everytime I Turn Around) Back In Love Again - LTD

I'm sure there's a lot more, but I can't think right now.

speaking of "Brand New Heavies", do you think that Jay would do a good cover of the song "After Forever" (track 12 on the album "Shelter")?

I've always fantasized about someone doing a cover of 'Are You Going To Go My Way' by Lenny Kravitz. Either speed it up acid-jazz style with horns and all, or slow it down nice, raw and funky. I think that would be awesome. Wink

EWF did a fantastic job on a Beatles original. So PietroChocko, that would mean that if J'quai did Got To Get You Into My Life by EWF, that would be a cover of a cover! Razz

I think Jay can do a pretty good cover of anything he sets his mind too... but I don't really dig After Forever. Sorry.

I totally agree with you on this one, PietroChocko.
I'm pretty sure Jamiroquai would make this tune into a funky one! Very Happy
But not so sure about "Curiosity Killed the Cat"... Confused

Sir Duke by Stevie Wonder and You and Me and The Bottle by Big Bad Voodoo Daddies.
Maybe also something by the Beatles or Bob Marly.
