Jamiroquai on music channels!!
Hi,
Wasting the hours away watching the UK music channels as I do so often ( ) I noticed that the "Cosmic Girl" video has been added to The Hist playlist (Sky channel 458), and Q (channel 453) have been playing Little L and Virtual Insanity latley I thought this would be interesting to any UK-based fans and is this a sign that the 'return' is imminent!?!

I have noticed on the Cox Cable channels the extra VH1s and MTVs they've been playing Little L and Foolosophy(at least once a day) more than usual....which is a good sign of the album coming out soon. _________________ I used to worry about the future

Hello,
Hehe, that would be some "positive signs" MackDaddy (Any relation to Criss-Cross?), but I just think that's random rotations . MTV US & VH1 US have already both condemned Jamiroquai as a "One and Two Hit Wonder" (Pretty redundant innit?). And let's be honest, the "M" in "MTV" & the "V" in VH1 don't mean "music", nor "Video" anymore! MTV tailors there programming to youth with major grasp of the word "like", and VH1 continues to till the ground for more stupid things to put into long boring LISTS! Sorry, lost my cool there, I have only seen good videos on one American Video outlet, Fuse TV, yeah, they are repetitive with the Rock and Hard Videos, but sometimes they play "real music", which you will NEVER hear on American Radio, unless you hav XM or Serious Satelitte Radio, and that's a topic I'll save for another time. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

no relations...lol
Actually it's a play on words because my youngest daughter is named Mackendry (from the surname of my Scottish heritage/also my pen name) and me being her daddy. The K stands for my first name...Kevin
As for VH1 and MTV...I'm not talking about the regular channels for both stations. Where I live there's 4 different MTVs and 4 different VH1s. The ones that play music videos 24-7 (like they should!). I only saw Jamiroquai once in a great while (and even that it was always Virtual Insanity....which drove me insane) but like I said I'm seeing Little L and Foolosophy on a daily basis now. _________________ I used to worry about the future

Hello again,
( Boy, keeping up with DaddyMack's reply speed will take sometime !) Hehe, oh ok, I get you. Still, MTV and VH1 in general have a LONG WAY to go back to actually showing videos that EVERYONE can see, not just the millions with the luxury of satelitte TV or Digital Cable (Nothing really DIGITAL about the Digital Cable, just the rates of what you pay the even fatter cable guy to bribe him into giving you the premium channels for free!) Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,

It's true. Even MTV2, which was created to show exclusively videos, and videos only, because the original MTV was getting away from music so much, is now not playing very many videos. But it's hard to complain too much for MTV2 when they put on Beavis and Butthead, Jackass, and Wildboyz reruns lol _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |
