Brawl
History was made in the NBA last night with probably the biggest Brawl in NBA history. If you can handle a little violence, and want some excitement in waiting for the new JAmiroquai album, click over to
Http://www.espn.com
This was seriously crazy!
The video should be available at this site. Peace!

Click on the first link under the big picture (the whole story is at the top of the webpage). It should have an "E" symbol next to the link. You'll have to download ESPN motion, but it's only a 2 second download, and YOU CAN JUST OPEN IT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SAVE THE DOWNLOAD TO SEE IT. IT'S PRETTY CRAZY THOUGH SO CHECK IT OUT.

That fat guy in the Pistons jersey got what he deserved! The fight looked like it was going to fizzle out on its own, until the bottle got thrown at Ron Artest. One of the ugliest scenes in sports, period. Sad

yeah that dude did deserve it. That way I see it, the blame can be equally split 3 ways for things getting out of hand: 33%: The Pacers involved 33%: Pistons fans 33% Lack of Pistons security
Both Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson are gonna get suspended the rest of the season. O'neal and Ben Wallace will get big penalties but not as bad

ESPN had full coverage of it, because it was the National game they were broadcasting that nigh. Eventhough they repeatedly showed the video time and time again, I can't find the video on ESPN.com, but I was able to find a much shorter version of the fight (It catches most of the Ron Artest stuff, but not much of the stuff that happened later, mainly with Jermaine O'Neal) at this site here:

http://video.msnbc.com/id/6534820

It only shows a 2 minute clip of something that took almost 10 minutes to end. You're seriously not even seeing half of the craziness with this clip, but you can at least a get an idea of what happened and how bad it got. The NBA earlier tonight suspended Artest for the rest of theseaon, Stephen Jackson for 30 games and Jermaine o'Neal for 25 games. Ben Wallace got a 6 game suspension. It's weird though, all media outlets, news services, etc couldn't show the footage enough over the weekend, but I had a lot of trouble findingit tonight, so search for it if you wanna find a better version.

NOW THE QUESTION I HAVE FOR THE EUROPEANS OUT THERE: A U.S. SPORTS REPORTER SAID A SIMILAR SITUATION HAPPENED WITH THE ROMA SOCCER TEAM. WHAT HAPPENED THERE? ANY IDEA WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT?

As I said Evov, Its a dumb 2 minute clip of something that lasted over 10 minutes. It was really bad, and the clip the I gave the link to on here only shows a fraction of it. Try and find the full clip and you'll get a better idea. But also we're not used to it happening on such a crazy level at U.S sporting events. There are no soccer hooligans in the U.S. I hear about a lot of that crazy stuff that happens at those soccer matches over in Europe, but in the U.S it doesn't happen that often. BUT ONCE AGAIN I REPEAT THE LINK THAT I GAVE IN THE PREVIOUS POST DOESN'T SHOW MUCH OF WHAT HAPPENED.

buffaloman_R Hello, buffaloman_R

Smile Hehe, yeah well, much like the Janet Jackson "topless" accident at the last Super Bowl, it looks like we are finally catching up with Europe in "Aggressive Sports-related incidents" Smile. Yes, it was a bad thing to see, the NBA players, mostly Artest, was incredibly unprofessional by rushing the stands, and in equal fault was the fans or drunken fans for throwing the beverage at Artest in the first place. I agree the suspensions for the NBA players was proper, they should just swallow their pride, forget bitching like overpaid spoiled men and accept their punishment. I mean, one example of them bitching was Artest on the Today Show giving a interview this morning, Artest was all calm, whiny, and pushing his new Rap CD and had no sign of remorse in his voice or behavior. I doubt this is a trend, I just think when things like this happen, people should just roll with the punches and not try to capitalize on it, that's just what I think. Thanks for listening and Peace!

Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

I agree with Jamirofan...Listen these people are paid more money than most of us could even dream about and one the few things in return for that money is to act like a professional. If I was getting paid millions a year then a cup full of soda thrown at me isn't going to bother me. It was wrong in every sense of the word. How about this... pay me his(Artest) salary and you can throw all the cups of soda you want at me! 2drunk
