Here's a lesson for Jamiroquai Fan Relations...
So, i'm not sure how many of you know, but i'm a drummer for quite some time now. And as any drummer I have my influences.
One of them, a large one for that matter, being Peter Erskine the drummer for my favourite band: Weather Report.
I recently stumbled across his web site the other day, and i found a message board. I decided to leave a message with some questions to peter, and whaddya know? HE ANSWERED!!!
Check out the post at this link(the post is at the end, I wrote as Mario, and he answered)
So, I think Jamiroquai has to learn from this guy, don't you?
Also, a few weeks ago, I discovered the message board in John Paul Jones' site (for those who don't know, he is led zeppelin's bassist) and after a few days I was posting there, he answered everyone's most frequent questions... Check his site out at www.johnpauljones.com
Tsc tsc tsc Jay & Company... what's happening to modern musicians' fan appeal?
Cheers,
Mario _________________

I'm not trying to defend but playing "devil's" advocate ...they are busy trying to finish an album that we've all been eagerly awaiting to come out. _________________ I used to worry about the future

Yes I agree they've been working on it way too long but just think...it should be worth the wait. _________________ I used to worry about the future

Hello,
Thanks for that concise info Mers, very interesting ! But still, Jamiroquai (Or JK if you prefer) who hired that web publishing company NASSTAR, HAVE to do at least SOMETHING to maintain that Official Site even IF there's no communication from the band or label. They ONLY updating they have done is in pushing new Jamiroquai merchandise, no competitions to win Jamiroquai stuff, no thoughtful or provoking Jamiroquai topic discussions started by the webmaster OR merely the doppelganger in charge of the "J-Talk" section, absolutely nothing, in all respects, they have not done their job. I visit scores and scores of other music artist websites, and they have been more alive, well-maintained and nearly ALWAYS either a new competition, poll, ACTUAL NEWS or something similar to that on the site updated, JK picked a bad company, it's simple as that. But as usual, it have been just a "communication breakdown" between all parties OR just simple snafus along the way of making the new album. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________
