In a word....release!
To elaborate; Jamiroquai's infectious disco funk driven music means release in every aspect of the term. Release from the daily drone of work, release from the mundane random thoughts in my head, release from all negativity that surrrounds me, release from the hardships of reality...etc. I can't help but feel happy, feel larger than life, like anything is possible when I listen to their music.
See who needs a shrink when all you have to do is listen to Jamiroquai! hahaha _________________ I used to worry about the future
But then I threw my caution to the wind.....

Jamiroquai to means music that can pull me from a world of doom and gloom to a world full of funk, fun and antics where i really want to get down, without what anyone may think.
As soon as a song come on, i tap me feet, and feel myself start to dance around the room making as much noise as possible, knocking things off the shelves and stubbing my toes a lot, lol and basically feeling excellent inside, and that being soba, i wont tell you what happens as soon as a few whiskeys gets into me!!!!!!!!!
btw 20 from England, |

Hello,
( I'm almost back to my regular annoying daily posting, aren't I? ) Well, having followed, griped, loved, written, consoled, endeared and thought well of Jamiroquai for the yonder 12 years that I have, it is a very personal part of my life. To me Jamiroquai represents a aspect of Musical freedom that isn't as freely available in these times. Back in those introspective 1990's, music was the paramount of which everything in the world revolved around, Jamiroquai's early music was one primary example of that. EOPE & ROTSC were masterpieces and were cleverly trained future aspirations of what man should have followed to better it's place in the world, or at least fess up to what it fu**ed up in the first place. After that golden musical time, money, in it's way, blinded everything and took those believes and threw them to the wayside. Luckily, JUST LUCKILY, my generation came along through that Mountain Dew soaked grunge delirium of the 90s and saw the truth in that lost music, reveled in it and continue to progress as human beings today. Hehe, sorry to be poetic there, but most of the current music offerings out there are too either "sugar-coated with hooks", "nonsense lyrics" or don't aspire to change anything EXCEPT the artist's payroll. Thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000 _________________

.............what does JMQ mean to u?............
Well, for me JMQ is a life style: their music is my life!
Music is one of the most interesting mental experience and the musical experience represents itself.
The rhythms of the globe are around us and are part of us, and
this is no better represented than by music.
