Should the bandmembers appear in the Jamiroquai-Videos?
Inspired by the question kingcal asked in the other treat, i am going to start this one...

Personally i am hoping that the video-style will increase a bit and i am also waiting for another supersonic, deeper underground or return of the space cowboy... 
well, there are still a couple of video-releases coming from AFO. let's keep our fingers crossed, that the other bandmembers will appear in a video...

Yeah...
I think they should, although it depends on the theme of the video and stuff like that...but I'd prefer if the other guys were featured at least a bit in every video.
The next single from AFO (after Love Foolospohy) will be Corner of The Earth, or at least that's what I've heard. However, considering the theme of this song, the video will most likely not feature the rest of the band.
Oh, well...at least it's a great choice for a single, IMHO.

well, i agree that it is a great choice for a single-release.
but i DO think, that this song is a pretty good opportunity for the band to appear in the video.
in their concerts, they use corner of the earth and/or black crow as kind of a cool-down-moment for the audience. it gives you the chance to actually apreciate the fabulous music-performance of each band-member.
thinking about it, i get a couple of ideas for the visual style for the video... if anybody from the band reads this, contact me! i am willing to sell them

Of course, all the band must be in the videos to show to anybody that Jami is a group and not a man
So, I' ve been very disappointed by the 2 last clips (YGMS and Love Fool)
Moreover, the musicians are as important as the singer (in the shows overall) |

I agree on the statement that the musicians are as important as the singer and that Jamiroquai could show that they are really a band and not only Jay K.
But i am not disappinted in YGMS! At all! I like the visual style of this video! But you are right with LF. They could have done way better on that one.
I hope, that Jamirquai reads this and all the other comments on the internet and that they will do something about it!! 8) |

as long as the video is labelled a jamiroquai video, it should only be naturally right that the other members should be included. show jay and only jay if he's making a video under his own name. |

MEMBERS OF THE BAND ON VIDEO
I would love to see the other members of JAMIROQUAI on the next video.
ChristianB, I do not see it your way about the video of "Corner of the Earth". I think that it is the opportunity for each member to show his personal view.
Hi CosmicBear, this is my idea for the video of Corner. One after the other, each member wanders in his favourite place on the earth. Do not ask me where this should be, beacuse this should be the very own idea of each specific member.
The costs of shooting 5 different films in 5 different places on the earth is likely to be too high and the director should resort to cartoon painters and artists to draw the video. There are so many talented persons out there.
The possibilities offered by cartoons are so wide!
Such a video would celebrate the earth-loving spirit of JAMIROQUAI.
It would also give the opportunity of each member to express himself and let us share a little bit of his dream realm.
Apart from this:
Following what you suggested, CosmicBear, JAMIROTALK.NET could have a special topic category where only the videos are discussed.
A special topic within should be suggestions from fans about scenarios of videos to come.
Most of the fans have complained about the last videos (I was among them), so it would be nice to be constructive and propose something instead. |

hmmm, i don't think, that a cartoon-style video would suit that particular song. anyway, creating a five-minute-cartoon-video is AT LEAST as expensive as five trips around the world. and it would take more time than to fly around the world...
about the topic, sunrayvibe, i will talk to funkmaster about it. but yes, it's a good idea, i think. he and cosmicmouse are gone for the weekend, so it won't happen before next week

they won't be erased, so jamirotalk-members can react to it whenever they want. it also makes it possible to have up-to-date-threads :)
just click on "new topic" in whatever topic you want your thread it (fits probably best in "music..."

I think that the rest of the band should be in all of them!!
After all Jamiroquai are a band. There are other members as well as J.
Look at videos like Space Cowboy. They contain the whole band not just J. |

i think its kinda unfair  for the rest of the bandmembers not to be in  the videos!
i mean no band no good music!!
jay kay would never bve that famous whithout his absolutely great band!
