Viva New Daft Punk album coming March 2005!!!!
Hello,
I'm extremely excited to announce that the premiere & most evolutionary force in Electronic Music has a new album coming out in March of 2005 ! Those Parisian robots, Daft Punk, whose 2nd album, 2001's "Discovery" redefined how far you can push the Electronic envelope, have their 3rd album titled "Humans After All" coming out March 23rd! Here's a great article I found on the Billboard Charts website about it:

Daft Punk Reveals Its 'Human' Side
By Jonathan Cohen, N.Y.
French electronica duo Daft Punk will return this spring with its third studio album, "Human After All." The 10-track set will be released March 21 internationally via Virgin and a day later in North America. Although its Daft Punk's first album since 2001's "Discovery," the set was assembled over the course of just six weeks this fall in the act's Paris home studio.
"Human After All" is said to be "more spontaneous and direct" than Daft Punk's prior releases, incorporating dashes of rock'n'roll on "Robot Rock" and un-ironic emotional sentiments on "Make Love."
"Discovery" peaked at No. 3 on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums chart and has sold 526,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. It spawned four top-10 hits on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart: "One More Time" (No. 1), "Face to Face" (No. 1), "Harder Better Faster Stronger" (No. 3) and "Digital Love" (No. 9).
Since the release of the album, Daft Punk principals Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manuel de Homem Christo have scored the animated film "Interstella 5555," sold action figures of the film's characters on their Web site and unveiled the remix collection "Daft Club."
Here is the track list for "Human After All":
"Human After All"
"The Prime Time of Your Life"
"Robot Rock"
"Steam Machine"
"Make Love"
"The Brainwasher"
"On/Off"
"Television Rules the Nation"
"Technologic"
"Emotion"
Oh boy, I'm excited, if this 3rd album is any better than "Discovery", then I will build my own robot suit and ignore everyone by having a color dot matrix mask that flashes the same message, "DOES NOT COMPUTE! NOW PISS OFF!" Ha Ha Ha! Just kidding, thanks for listening and Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

Daft Punk proves once and for all that "robots" are indeed our friends.
I can't wait. This is gonna be good. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |
