Online Radio Stations
Hey guys, hope you're having better weather than I am. I'm in Boston, getting walloped with over two feet of snow and as of right now, it's near white-out conditions.
Anyways, I'd like to know if you guys listen to internet radio at all-regular online station or through different sites like AOL or something (count me in amongst the latter). Also, a question for the American fans: With hip-hop and pop-rock as the new hallmarks for the U.S. radio playlist, do you think that online radio is the last frontier for bands that have been chucked by American radio, like Jamiroquai? I'm interested to hear your thoughts. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Otherwise, I have to be honest, I can see a situation where...there is a possibility that you become lost in the annals of acid jazz history." -- Jason Kay |

I guess for right now Im fine with normal AM/FM radioa and my CD collection, but that's only for literally until the end of the year. I guess if you wanna group Satellite Radio (XM and Sirius) with internet radio, ok, but Satelite radio in 2006 is what I'll be swtiching to. And for one reason alone: HOWARD STERN BABY!!!!
He was taken off the air in Minneapolis way back in '01, and I miss him lol. I watch him on the E! Network whenever I can still. I hear Sirius has a lot of good programming on it, so if it has a reasonable monthly charge, I'll buy it (plus the equipment costs ouch).
But for right now Im good with what I have. _________________ Wouldn't 'ya like... To walk the sunny avenues of life? |
