Hi Jamirotalkers,
I have a song in my ears and can't stop singing it today...
that's my recommendation of the day:
Just the two of us from Bill Withers
You can find this song for example on the Greatest Hits album of Bill Withers:
I love it!

Chemical Brothers - Push The Button
1. Galvanize-Feat. Q-Tip
2. The Boxer-Feat. Tim Burgess
3. Believe-Feat. Kele Okereke
4. Hold Tight London-Feat. Anna Lynne
5. Come Inside
6. The Big Jump
7. Left Right-Feat. Anwar Superstar
8. Close Your Eyes-Feat. The Magic Numbers
9. Shake Break Bounce
10. Marvo Ging
11. Surface To Air
The Chemical Brothers are back with their fifth studio, 'Push The Button', Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons once again demonstrate that, when it comes to beat-based innovation, inspired collaboration and sheer sonic excellence, they are matchless. The first single 'Galvanize' is a Middle Easton-flavoured juggernaut, featuring A Tribe Called Quest legend Q-Tip. Old sparring partner Tim Burgess continues a run of sublime hook-ups with 'The Boxer'. Also representing the hip hop world that was Tom'n'Ed's first love is Anwar Superstar, brother of Mos Def and here vocalist of 'Left Right'.
From the other end of the cultural spectrum comes Kele Okereke, singer with hot new art-rock outfit Bloc Party; his chopped up, mantric vocals on 'Believe' show why he's one of the most exciting new frontmen in Britain. 'Close Your Eyes', meanwhile, recalls the psychedelic soul of the Chemicals' past collaborations with Mercury Rev and Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips; this time, their crative partners are the massively-tipped The Magic Numbers, the double-sibling foursome who have been causing all manner of fuss on the London gig circuit. You heard their Mamas and The Papas-type harmonies here first.
I already have it , is very good! The first song Galvanize is amazing, try to listen it! _________________ hooked up |

2. It's Been Hurting All The Way With You Johanna
3. Don’t Call The Police
4. Keep The Hurt At Bay
5. The Pressure
6. Positive Vibrations

This swedish band has won several awards for this album, i think it's absolutely amazing, it's just like The Return of the Space Cowboy-album, i don't skip any track! If you like the swedish music-scene (like The Hives, Sahara Hotnights, Kent) i think you'll definitely like this one aswell _________________

Hello Jamirotalkers,
I bought today 'Push The Button' and in a quick listen I realized it's a great album. I'm not really into 'Left Right' still, but the rest of the album is very good.
My recommendation of the day? 'Marvo Ging'; 'Come Inside'.

Diego, what is the song in the album that they make a short reference abou portugal do you already notice that?
A friend told me , but i don't know yet! he don't remmember wich is the song!In a portuguese radio they are offering a trip to tokyo to see chemical brothers, with all payed it over tommorow!
The recomendation of today:
Yin Yang
Bonito
Aún No Me Toca
No Sé Estar Enamorado
Mira Cómo Viene
Cambiar La Piel
Bailar
En Conexión
Tijuana
Como Peces En El Agua
Palabras Que Se Esconden
Camino
Emociones
Corazón
Bonito," or "Pretty," is the title track of this reflective album that embraces the joys and failures of life as experienced by the members of one of Spain's most influential alternative bands.
Border residents will find a local twist on "Las cruces de Tijuana" ("The crosses of Tijuana") in which lead singer Pau Donés sings how he would like to come back to Tijuana and hear a song about the dreams that pass over the metal fence.
I like very much this album,i got it when was realeased in 2003!Got one of my favourite songs ! Mira Cómo Viene Is the song that i like more in the album! _________________ hooked up |
