The Chemical Brothers are back with their fifth studio, 'Push The Button', Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons once again demonstrate that, when it comes to beat-based innovation, inspired collaboration and sheer sonic excellence, they are matchless. The first single 'Galvanize' is a Middle Easton-flavoured juggernaut, featuring A Tribe Called Quest legend Q-Tip. Old sparring partner Tim Burgess continues a run of sublime hook-ups with 'The Boxer'. Also representing the hip hop world that was Tom'n'Ed's first love is Anwar Superstar, brother of Mos Def and here vocalist of 'Left Right'.

'Close Your Eyes', meanwhile, recalls the psychedelic soul of the Chemicals' past collaborations with Mercury Rev and Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips; this time, their crative partners are the massively-tipped The Magic Numbers, the double-sibling foursome who have been causing all manner of fuss on the London gig circuit. You heard their Mamas and The Papas-type harmonies here first.
I already have it , is very good! The first song Galvanize is amazing,try to listen it!

This swedish band has won several awards for this album, i think it's absolutely amazing, it's just like The Return of the Space Cowboy-album, i don't skip any track! If you like the swedish music-scene (like The Hives, Sahara Hotnights, Kent) i think you'll definitely like this one aswell

Hello Jamirotalkers,
I bought today 'Push The Button' and in a quick listen I realized it's a great album. I'm not really into 'Left Right' still, but the rest of the album is very good.
My recommendation of the day? 'Marvo Ging'; 'Come Inside'.

Diego,what is the song in the album that they make a short reference abou portugal do you already notice that?
A friend told me , but i don't know yet! he don't remmember wich is the song!In a portuguese radio they are offering a trip to tokyo to see chemical brothers, with all payed it over tommorow!
