JK Arrested at Gumball 3000 Rally?!?
Hello, :bm_r:
Just read some interesting news at the Funkin Site ! According to the Funkin Site & the Australian Newspaper (LINK to article: http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/common/story_page/0,5744,9529096%255E1702,00.html ) , sometime between May 5-12, during the Gumball 3000 event (A unsanctioned street race of over 160 cars on various streets in the UK), five multi-millionaires were arrested during the weekend for driving cars above 200 km/m. JK was said to have taken part in this year's race and one of the drivers quote, "one of the drivers covered the 210 km distance between the towns of Sagunto and Cambrils in 50 minutes, at an average speed of 252 km/h on a public highway." So, this begs the question that was asked at the end of the Funkin Site news item: Was JK one of the millionaires arrested in the speeding incident? I mean, their is a chance he could have gotten caught "Travelling Without Moving"..hehe )! I wonder how much is bail where he was caught, if it ends up being true? Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

That's over 150 mph, dude! I just hope JK didn't get cuffed...people would be calling for the pokey for him in my opinion
If he's free for the month of May, I know a place where speeding would be appreciated...Indianapolis He's got money, I'm sure he'd get a ride pending the rookie tests A primo marketing opportunity in America notwithstanding as well...
Seriously, the Gumball 3000 is crazy. I saw it on MTV during the Jackass era when they all did it. It's my favorite episode of the show and I remember it fondly. I just wish TV could cover it now like MTV did back then. I have a few out-there dreams that probably won't come true, and doing the Gumball 3000 is one of them. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. I´ve seen this new in TV today. They have stopped the race in Cataluña (north Spain) and they´ve also take some of the cars in order to check them becouse they think they have some illegal arranges. And yep, Jay´s one of hte guys injured (rode this in today´s newspaper). Of course, they told about a brithis singer called Jamiroquai , who was one of the racers catched.
They´ve been having lunch in the Beckhams home in Madrid, and they planned to arrive in Cannes for the festival or something (can´t remember).
The local gouverment of Cataluña said that they are going to do everything in their hands to stop such a silly race, becouse they think that the racers are mocking of the normal people going at even 260 km in a public rode (they are crazy with speed restriccions here in Spain. In Germany they don´t have any speed limit on higroads and it´s the safest country of the world).
I´ll post something more if they say something in Today´s night news. |

News!
Ola
Well it wasn't only Jay
Check here the news.
Multimillionaires arrested in illegal road race
TARRAGONA (AFP) - Five multimillionaires were arrested at the weekend for driving at speeds of more than 200 kilometres an hour in an unauthorized, high jinks road race in the Catalonia region of Spain, local police said Monday.
The annual, yet illegal car race known as the "Gum Ball 3000," is famous for attracting participants with an appetite for powerful cars and life in the fast lane.
Among this year's participants are American actor Adrien Brody, British model Jodie Kidd and singer Jamiroquai, and a nephew of Saudi Arabia's king.
The five drivers detained by Spanish police were described as men from Britain, Canada and Belgium aged between 30 and 50.
One of the drivers covered the 210-kilometre distance between the towns of Sagunto and Cambrils in 50 minutes, at an average speed of 252 kilometres an hour on a public highway.
The French police had already warned Catalonian officials of the arrival of more than 160 large-engined sports cars taking part in the race which began on May 5 in Paris.
During last year's Gum Ball 3000, held in the United States, participants incurred more than US$25,000 in fines.

lol at supersonic
That jackass episode is funny, eventhough it's only Steve-O (who is called "Sleep-O in that episode because he falls asleep in the car so much), party boy Pontius and Jonny Knoxville. It woulda been great if Bam Margera and the rest of the crew were there too.
My favorite part of the episode: When they are pulled over in Russia, Knoxville pays this Russian boy to go up to (Pontius and kick him in the nuts. It's so funny whyen he actually does it to him. Classic Jackass humor. |

Yeah Jaminneapolis I sow it too, but the episode is from last year race. Quite funny when they almost get smashed by a lorry driving in the highway trying to win the race and all they do is to get loosed. |
