Jay Kay on holiday
Thanks to David and his site www.frenchiroquai.com for bringing (and lending) this article.
It was published this week in a French "people magazine" called "VOICI".
You can take a look at the pictures and at the article under following links:

Here is the translation of the article in English.
"
The leader of Jamiroquai goes back to good old habits : „water of fire“ and peace smoking.
What a curious Indian!
He sells millions of records, parks Ferraris and Lamborghinis in his English manor…
Still, he chose to spend some holiday in Sicily in a quite simple way with a total of 4 days in Taormina in a nice (but not high-class) hotel, among which 3 nights partying (without excess though) in the club belonging to the hotel.
Jay Kay spent most of his days hanging around and getting tanned at the pool of the hotel as well as on the sea coast. Not on board of a huge yacht but with a small motor- boat rented for the day.
Indeed, the disco singer will satisfy himself with simple pleasures: go out with friends, a good crime novel, a neat cool beer… Heading 33 years old, has he gone more reasonable? Nothing is less sure.
With his position in favour of ecology and a lover of Nature, Jay looks at the world with an interested and tolerant eye.
A piece of evidence: paying attention to local particularities, he was surprised to see a young girl of the area proposing him a little bag containing a so-called product from her garden. A nice coincidence for the singer who owns an organic-grown vegetable garden in England. Green plants … something in his nature. God only knows what the two of them talked about.
On the day after, the “groovy man” decided to go to the Etna. He went, he saw and he came back a little disappointed. It seems that the most Indian of the Space Cowboy mistook the fumes of the volcano (the biggest in activity in Europe) for smoke signs…"

Hello, :jay3:
WHOA!! Great article, thanks for the translation Sunrayvibe! And the pictures... ....WOW, Jay is whitier than Bill Clinton's pasty white thighs! Jay looks like the Pillsbury Buffaloman, except you touch a more compromising place to make him giggle. I wonder who the bird is? Sorry, didn't read the article all the way through, I will! Thanks again for posting this great Sunray and thanks for listening! You should be a moderator Sunrayvibe! The usual props to Mouse and Bear! Peace!
Sincerely,

Glad you enjoyed the article.
Looking at the pictures again, I found it poured a little holiday sunshine to all who are back at work!
Yes, Jamirofan, I'm so glad to be a co-moderator in this section and to follow your footsteps .
Feel free to correct mistakes in English which would make the text more understandable.
Now I need a little hint about the US culture: what is a "Pillsbury" Buffaloman? If YOU write this, it must be something funny, for sure. |

I can answer that. the pillsbury doughboy is a little figure that is used by an american company for their advertisment. they sell cinnamon-rolls and all that stuff, that you back yourself (like 'Knack und Back' here in germany).
in the ads, you always see someone pressing his belly and that makes him giggle. _________________ Dear Auntie Em. Hate you, hate Kansas, took the dog. Dorothy. x |

The Jay Doughboy.....
Hello, :jay4:
Yep, CosmicBear is right, the Pillsbury Doughboy is that annoying little white baker's boy that was inslaved my the Pillsbury corporation to sell their pastries! Jay Kay also kind of looks like Snuggle from those washing machine detergent commericals, I can see it now, "For Fresh wintery clothing, try new Snuggle JK Washing-up detergent, makes your sheets so clean, makes Snuggle JK want to get-it-on: (A white fluffy bear hops down of washing machine sporting a BMW racing jacket, a half smoked ciggie, and a fake animal fur hat jumps down on the unexpected female washing up cloths, looks into her long-drawn eyes and whispers,) "Oi, you smell sooo clean, let's shag!" (Moans are heard from behind the washing machine as cloths are seen flying, logo fills screen). OK, another case of my humour going overboard! Thanks for listening and the usual props to CosmicMouse & Bear! Peace!
Sincerely,
JamiroFan2000

If Jay Kay had a line of washing detergent,
just think how lucky you having the same
cleaning means as a popstar!
