Jay is in LA filming the video for Feels Just Like It Should
I sent an email to Sola some days ago just to wish him good luck and support for the new album and to ask him to drop by this forum or funkin.com to say something to us and he replied the following:
"Thanks for your words of encouragement and support,it's most appreciated I can assure you.
We are all looking forward to the release of album 6 and we can't wait to hit the road.
Everything is tighter within the band and the music is ready to bust out!
We are in the middle of rehearsals,Jay is in LA filming the video for the first single.
Portugal was a huge hit with the band last time we were there,so we are really looking forward to a return visit. Will make time to visit the funkin, com site
Take care
All the best in 2005
Sola"
He seems very confident about their live sound for this tour and confident about the quality of the album...he seems excited!!
I can't wait till June!!!
Peace
Melo D
By the way, the sample of fjlis is funkyyyyy |

Thanks a lot for the update. Hopefully, the video will be a smash hit! _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. It really does. Thank you so much Melo D!!!! I'm getting more, and more, and more excited. So, it seems that, again, Jay will be the only bandmember appearing in the video. Anyway, that song is powerful, so like Supersonic1 said it will hopelly be a success . I'll vote for it in every single countdown there is Go Jami! Go! _________________

Why can't we have a video with all the bandmembers in it !!! That's why all the videos in the AFO era sucked. _________________ We're going to a funktion yeah yeah yeah |

David Rowe (Mr. Funkin.com himself!) wrote on Jamline:
I've been fortunate enough to have heard a few tracks from Dynamite and in my opinion (if its worth anything), if the rest of the album is anything like the tracks on the sampler, then it's going to be great. Every track I've heard is great, and has its own funky style. Feels Just Like It Should DOES NOT indicate what the rest of the album (at least based on the sampler) sounds like. However, Feels Just Like It Should goes down superbly well when performed live.

I know everyone's opinion is different, but this has me even more excited to hear the results of this new album. |

Hey cool! However if only Jay is in LA, i spose that means that the whole band wont be in the video....ah well. _________________ Fascist.

If you click on the "more" button there is an interesting picture from the video shoot. Looks really cool. I guess we'll have to wait and see |

at least that car seems to came from 70's... hehehee
and if that's Jay, well, i see he's using his "top model" clothes...
i really love the adidas wearing... but i don't know...
maybe the video is another different thing of what i'm thinking about... _________________ This is FunkEducation, supporting the 1992-1998 Jamiroquai!!

Is it just me or is Jay looking like he's jumping off the car? If it is, then the FJLIS song and video are really starting to look like Deeper Underground...I think the song has some of the same elements in "Deeper", and in the video, Jay was jumping off cars too, playing "miss the target" with dropping hunks of metal. _________________ "...I feel that Jamiroquai needs to be taken to another stage now. Sucks that only Jay is in the video...again! This kind of thing continues to give out the message that 'Jamiroquai is Jay Kay and not a band' to the general public! _________________ Bass Transcriptions coming soon! |
